One of my other quotes was twice as expensive as the one Mariusz gave me, and that company said it would take 4 workers 3 days to complete the project (my condo is on the smaller size side, and there is no way four people could have even fit in here while working at the same time). I would definitely hire ReDesign again if/when I need additional floors replaced."

"Danny and his entire team were very professional throughout the process. We just bought a house and we decided to replace the carpet upstairs with hardwood before moving in. The previous owners would not let us in until closing, so Danny met us at the house immediately after we closed to give us a final estimate, and his crew came the next day to carry wood upstairs and acclimate it. They exceeded our expectations by finishing the entire project before moving day (we thought we would have to sleep downstairs at first!) and they even fixed our stair railing and replaced the top stair riser before we moved in. Everyone was polite to me and accommodating when I needed to let other pros into our attic. After installation, we were concerned about the color of some of the hickory boards, and I voiced my concerns to Danny. (Hickory is mostly a reddish or blonde color, but a few boards had gray mottling on it--probably a natural variation, but it looked like damage to the untrained eye). Danny was great and offered to have his guys carefully replace 6 boards at no additional cost, just so that we would be happy with the outcome. They did a great job and I can barely tell which boards have been replaced, even if I get down on the floor. Danny also had them restain the stair riser to better match the existing floor, even though I hadn't asked. All in all, we are very pleased and we love the floors."

Attention to detail, with outstanding repair of riser in 100 + y/o oak stairs by placing quarter round oak wherever risers meet tread. "After purchasing our home, my wife and I decided to have maple wood floors installed in the bedrooms to match the rest of the house. We received three bids in an effort to keep everyone honest. Ismael was referred to us by our neighbor. From the beginning of the process, he was my favorite. He has a great personality but more importantly, he was the most knowledgeable and based on his assessment, I was confident he would produce the best work product. He actually predicted how the bidding process would play out. "I come out and give the estimate and I install the floors. They have a guy who will come out and estimate and someone else to install the floors. There will be miscommunication and problems with that. With me, no problems." Ismael could not have been more accurate. It was really frustrating and time consuming dealing with the other vendors just to obtain their bids! We paid a little more to work with Ismael but it was money well spent. My rationale was the benefit of paying a skilled craftsman to do the work correctly outweighed my time having to correct potential mishaps. We had such a great experience. Ismael and his crew were punctual, on budget and finished exactly when they said they would. They also revealed amazing attention to details--they identified and corrected a creek in a section of the floor and a stain that could not be sanded so they replaced that section of the floor. The floors turned out beautiful and we could not be happier. Ismael and his crew are consummate professionals! The best!"
