"Several painting companies declined to bid when contacted, saying they found the project outside their comfort level. Trinity accepted the challenge and performed to perfection. Owner Angel Torres personally supervised and participated in the effort. Skill, pride, experience, and professionalism was on display in every aspect from site prep to clean-up. They started when they said they would, they came each day when they said they would, and they finished when they said they would. Extremely customer oriented: courteous, friendly, and respectful. We could not find even a smudge of paint out of place. We were so impressed we gave Angel a bonus. Trinity really came through for us."

Customers say: True professional

"We are returning customers of Brian Mull Painting and have been SO happy with the work they've done! We just changed the color of our main room, it was a darker blue and we had him paint over in SW Repose Gray. Although he didn't mention it I am sure it was NOT an easy job to paint over all that blue, and it looks gorgeous. They also did trim painting and touchups in the rest of the house. Brian and his team have a great work ethic, pay close attention to detail, and he was also very reasonable with his price for the job. Would highly recommend Brian Mull Painting- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way!"

"Eric had some rather unique challenges because he had to match some textured walls that were peeling. It took a little longer than expected, but it came out really great. I would call on him anytime to do painting work for me."

Painting questions, answered by experts

Regular cleaning, touch-ups for small defects, and resealing or repainting every 2-3 years help to maintain a vibrant appearance and protection.

Typically, a fence requires one to two coats of stain. The exact number can vary depending on the porosity of the wood. For specific guidance, it's best to check the manufacturer's instructions. After applying the first coat and letting it dry completely, you can assess the finish. If it appears patchy, uneven, or you want a more saturated color, a second coat is recommended. An extra coat can also help cover lap marks.

Whether to brush or roll stain on wood depends on the project and your preference. Brushing is ideal for smaller, intricate areas and offers more control over the application, ensuring thorough coverage and penetration into the wood's grain.

Conversely, rolling is efficient for more extensive, flat surfaces and can save time. However, it is not always the best fit for textured or uneven wood. Some projects may benefit from combining both methods, using a brush for detail work and a roller for broader areas. Ultimately, the choice between brushing and rolling depends on the specific requirements of your staining project.

Stains penetrate wood best when it's cool and dry, so you want to avoid moisture. If the wood is wet upon application, or if it rains before the stain dries, the water will soak into the wood and displace the staining solution. This leads to a flaky and blotchy look, which is the opposite of a sumptuous even coat. Once the stain has fully cured, after about 3 days, rain shouldn’t cause you any problems.

The best finish for wrought iron railings is either a semi-gloss or a gloss sheen, as each offers good durability against rain, wind, heat, cold, and snow.
