"David Gentry arrived on time and cleaned our porcelin tile floor. He also changed the grout color and shaved down corners of tile that had become a trip hazard. When he finished , our 20 plus year old floor looked brand new. He worked all day until the floor was perfect. David is a professional who helped us pick the best grout color. I highly recommend his service."

"Highly recommend this company. The owner Logan was very responsive when we requested pricing and availability. When he arrived at our house he was very professional and knowledgable. We needed the carpet in our guest bedroom cleaned as we have a new renter moving in. There were a few tough stains from the previous renter that we weren't sure would come out but he recommended a few products that he said should work and sure enough the carpet looks new which saved us from having to replace it entirely. Logan followed up with us a few days later to see if we had any issues with the cleaning after the carpet dried. You really can't find that kind of customer service anymore. We will definitely continue to use this company for all our carpet cleaning needs. Looking forward to booking our next service with him to clean our sofa. Thank you Logan for taking on our job!"

"Great communication and professionalism from sales to installation. The sales rep answered all of my questions and the installers were prompt, friendly and when they were finished, the project looked awesome. The install crew cleaned up and left everything looking perfect. Thanks again for the beautiful floor."

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

Before starting on a full refinishing project, determine if your floors need to be completely sanded down to the bare wood or if the damage is shallow and mostly cosmetic. Deep scratches and gouges will require you to rough sand using a drum sander or belt sander, but small surface scratches or floors that have only lost their luster don’t need a complete overhaul. Instead, you can skip the rough sanding step and sand-screen the old finish with a buffer, removing only the top layer of polyurethane.

A floor polisher won’t remove scratches from a wood floor, but the polish can fill in surface scratches and make them all but invisible. If you run your fingernail gently over the scratch and it doesn’t catch, chances are that the polish will hide it. If it does catch, you might want to have your floors fully refinished, and you might need to have a professional floor sander in for particularly deep scratches. When in doubt, call a professional floor polisher to determine if polish will fill in your scratches or if you need more in-depth services.

Steam mops can be a better option than traditional mops because the steam can lift stubborn dirt from floors without using chemicals, and it also kills bacteria and dust mites. However, steam mops have drawbacks: they are more expensive, require an electrical outlet, and are not suitable for all flooring types, such as laminate or hardwood, which can be damaged by the steam.

Regular mopping can also sanitize floors effectively when done with the right cleaning products and techniques, though it may require more effort. The main advantage of a traditional mop is its versatility, as it can be used on any type of flooring. Ultimately, the best choice depends on your floor type, budget, and cleaning preferences.

Yes, you can mop hardwood floors with a damp flat or string mop as long as it is not soaking wet. Always avoid leaving standing water or fully soaking your hardwood floors, even if they are properly finished. A slightly wet mop, with or without cleaning solutions, will not damage the wood.

To properly maintain natural stone surfaces, use pH-neutral cleaners for regular cleaning and avoid acidic substances that can cause damage or etching. It is also important to reseal the surfaces periodically, especially for porous stones, to protect the finish, maintain appearance, and ensure longevity.
