"They used Jack's that can be custom cut and a steel beam to support the house. The concept is really good, the execution was done very poorly, they didn't cut them long enough to raise the house enough to be level, which is what I was paying them 8000 for! So they raised it a bit and probably realized they didn't cut them long enough and called it quits. They then gave me a poor excuse of the house is too heavy to raise it more with the Jack's that they used which are meant for that, not only that but it is being supported by them right now so...... Majorly disappointed, but hey at least it's not supposed to sink any more I guess."

As the owner/operator it very important to me that every job is done on time and with the complete satisfaction of the client. Most of my business is by word of mouth. But it is time to reach out to those that are new to the area. To see some of my work go to Rainbows ENDterprises @ blogspot.com I do use subcontractors in my business but supervise all of the work being done as it is important each trade have the best chance to achieve there best results. All of the subcontractors I use I have been using for more than ten years. Being in the business for over twenty years in the same place and using qualified help keeps the referrals coming.

Foundation Repair questions, answered by experts

Cracks, spalling, uneven surfaces, and weather damage often necessitate professional repair or resurfacing.

Depending on the severity, a slab leak can go undetected for months or even years, especially if you don’t carry out routine foundation inspections to find foundation leaks early. However, minor leaks are likely to turn into more severe leaks over time, so you might notice increases in water bills and issues with yard drainage, even if the problem is minor.

Yes, you can replace a cinder block foundation. If a block foundation is too severely damaged to repair cracks and other issues, replacing the entire foundation is a viable option. The job will require a professional and can take between one to seven days on average to complete, depending on how complex the problem is.

Although it is possible for a house to collapse from a sinking foundation, it will likely take many years, and signs of major issues will be apparent for a while. Homes on hillsides or in areas that experience frequent washouts are at a higher risk of collapse. Still, barring a natural disaster or extreme circumstances, houses are unlikely to fully collapse from foundation damage.

You’ll need to reseal the foundation every five to 10 years, depending on the sealant you’ve used, the moisture conditions present in and around your home, and the condition of your foundation. Having a foundation inspection conducted before reapplication can help you catch any problems before you begin resealing. Of course, if you notice any new leaks or other moisture problems at any time, it may be necessary to reseal the foundation sooner.
