- Buresh Home Solutions, Inc.I called a few of the service providers I found on Angie's List. I was most impressed by Buresh Home Solutions' ratings and previous feedback. Brian returned my voice mail a day after I left my message and he apologized for the delay. Brian had confidence his team could diagnose and fix my leaking window and he was willing to come to my house to take a look at it on a Saturday (since my work schedule doesn't allow me to leave during the week). He arrived on time and assessed the issue by looking at it on the outside and inside. He again was confident his team could get to the bottom of the problem with minimal expense to me. His team kept in contact with me and kept me up to date on when I could expect someone to come out and take off the vinyl to determine the actual source of the leak. He told me that he wouldn't expect the repairs to cost anything over $500. I was satisfied with that amount, although I figured I would not receive a bill for anything less than that. I was traveling for work and his team contacted me to tell me where the source of the leak was (two small cracks in the window frame) and tell me that they caulked it to fix it. They let me know the amount of the repair was $300 plus tax (I was surprised they just didn't charge me the max amount of $500). Time will tell for sure whether the problem has been resolved as there has not yet been another heavy rain, but I am hopeful and confident that it has been. And I feel comfortable that Buresh Home Solutions will stand by their work. Both Brian and all the people I dealt with during this process were extremely professional. They followed through with what they said they were going to do in a timely manner. In general, Buresh seems like they have their act together. That's a big deal to me when I'm not home often and don't have time to wait on people and not get the problem resolved. I've already told some family members about my positive experience so far with them and that I'd recommend they consider Buresh for their home needs. UPDATE: It turned out that caulking the crack in the window frame was not enough to prevent the leak. A few days after their initial work, I experienced more water leaking. I e-mailed Brian to let him know. The next morning he called me and told me to hold off on paying them as they did not fix the problem. It sounded like the window needed to be replaced. The window was under warranty and the manufacturer (unrelated to Buresh) replaced it free of charge. Two gentlemen from Buresh Home Solutions came this morning to replace the unit. They were very professional and they got it done quickly. They showed me the crack that was causing the leak and then disposed of my window for me. I've heard that diagnosing a window leak can be a pain. Unfortunately this situation required a couple tries at it, but in the end, I am confident it is fixed. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Brian and his team. Every person I've been in contact with from Buresh has just been very pleasant to work with. I'd definitely recommend you consider them in any type of home repairs

We own an older home and after the first window taken out it was clear to the crew that things were going to be more difficult than first anticipated. This didn't slow the work or change the price. They were on time and worked till 5 pm every day, very diligent and pleasant. While unforeseen problems caused the job to take a few days longer, we were never made to wait. Once they began the work they continued until it was done and we were completely satisfied. Found termite damage caused problems which they determined quickly what they thought should be done and gave us a fair price. It would have been a great time to make up for the extra time they had to spend on the job, but they never took advantage of that. The job site was left clean and they were tidy. We are completely satisfied with the product as well. I waited to write this report because I wanted to see how the windows performed through winter and hot weather. We couldn't be happier. The house is solid, warmer in the winter and much cooler in the summer. We were painfully aware of the heat we were losing through the old windows and anticipated a big relief. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that the windows make a huge different in the summer months as well. Loved the experience. "They punctured the stand pipe to my upstairs bath room with a screw and after the screw corroded, I had sewage leaking inside my wall in my kitchen and into my basement cement blocks. They left the house without siding during the middle of the winter.
Wanted full payment before they completed the job. Didn't complete the trim painting until July. Job was contracted in the prior Fall. They kept putting off my job until it ended up not being completed until the following summer.
Very dissatisfied with work and the negative attitude of Brian regarding payment for work that was not completed.
Repair work was done by another company as I would never recommend or hire Buresh again.
