[Member Name Removed], I am personally very sorry to see this review. It's been 9 years since we did your work and honestly I thought we had addressed all issues we were aware of. When you paid us in full I thought that was confirmation we had addressed your issues because you did hold back payment until we addressed them. I am sorry if that assumption was wrong. I do need to address the issue of payment. We never asked to get paid in full before all work was completed. As our contract states, we will get progress payments for completed work especially when there is painting that needs to be done for a project we are doing in the winter. I am also sorry about the painting taking a while to get to but we worked through our projects for painting that carried over from the prior year that signed contracts before you. Also weather really affected us during your project so it took longer and we were prohibited from working due to the weather on some of the days. Again, I am sorry for your dissatisfaction. [Member Name Removed], I definitely appreciate the review and do think there were some things I could have done better. As I mentioned to you I had an estimator who was working for us when your estimates were prepared who is no longer with us. When I went to check final pricing for the material there were major errors and I could not honor the estimated price when the material cost for the larger deck was over the estimate price.That's when I called you and you asked me to work up a new estimate. I tried to be very honest with you, but before actual contracts are signed we always review estimates and material cost and that is when the error was found and remember we were working with a new material we haven't used and that is where the pricing mistake happened. I am very sorry this happened and will try to do better in future. If we had a signed contract I would have honored it. BrianInterior remodeling, handyman services, staining, and roofing.
