I did get a discount though, which reduced the price to a little over $900. job involved replacing four lavatory shut-off valves and installing two faucet sets (which I already had). The guy also took care of a minor drain leak. Reasonably fast work (second day since his truck-stock had been depleted), cleaned thoroughly when done, was pleasant and paid attention quite well.
