"Mr. Albert, met above and beyond my expectations. We discussed the actual problem and the possible different scenarios that could be happening behind the bathroom wall. All I knew for certain was that my living room was getting flooded with water. He saved my bathroom tiles and did a opening through my living room. He cleaned, unclogged, replaced tub drain pipe connection with lots of difficulty due to the lack of room, but he DID IT!!!55hrs later we sat one more time and he gave us recommendations on how to maintain our plumbing clog free. Best of all he worked with me by giving me an AFFORDABLE price. Thank you, Albert!"

"Tom replaced my kitchen faucet and two bathroom faucets and did an absolutely excellent job! He was extremely professional and the cost was much lower than what I expected! While here he also took care of a slow drain with my master tub and it now drains perfectly! I would highly recommend him to anyone with any plumbing needs!!"

French Drains questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can pour water down the toilet to help it flush. For each flush, you’ll need 1 to 2 gallons of water for newer toilets or 3 to 5 gallons of water for older toilets. Rather than dumping the entire bucket in all at once, pour the water in slowly for the best results. If you’re pouring water down the toilet to help it flush after a clog, only use 1 gallon of hot water.

For homes with a septic tank, harsh chemicals like those found in drain cleaner or bleach aren’t recommended. Some chemical drain cleaners can disrupt the balance of bacteria in the septic tank or damage your pipes. For homes with a septic tank, you can choose drain cleaners specifically formulated for use with septic tanks or go with a drain snake. When in doubt, make sure you know who to call for a clogged drain

No. You should dispose of all oil-based finishing products through a local hazardous waste program. Not only can oil-based finishes be hazardous for the environment if disposed of in the sink, but they can cause clogs in your pipes and stop up your drains. Most municipal garbage or waste disposal companies have a specific location or pick-up schedule for hazardous materials, so that’s your best bet to get rid of excess finishing products.

Your sewer line can get grimy quickly. To prevent sludge buildup in your sewer line, pour a mixture of 1/3 cup of vinegar and 1/3 cup of baking soda down each drain in your home once a month. After about 30 minutes, flush the drain with hot water.

Some plumbers recommend 3/4 cup of bleach instead to clean any germs and bacteria that may build up in your sewer line. But this won’t break down any active clogs, and it cannot be combined with vinegar, as the mixture will create a toxic, hazardous gas.

The best way to unclog a bathtub drain is to pour a pot of boiled water down the drain, being careful not to splash yourself. However, take precautions, as boiling water can damage PVC pipes and joints. Follow up with ½ cup of baking soda and ½ cup of vinegar. Cover the drain with a small sink plunger and let it sit for 15 minutes. Pour boiling water down the drain again and replace the drain stopper.
