"I was very impressed with the service I received. Andrew, the technician showed up around an hour after I contacted the company to get a quote to have my dryer vent cleaned. He completed the work in about 15 minutes and cleaned the area around the vent so it was cleaner than when he arrived. He answered questions I had about the damage not having a clean vent could cause. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a dryer vent cleaned."

"This navy vet comes prepared to work and does the job right. I have been using Mr Lopez since 2015 for dryer vent and dryer cleaning. Today's job was to clean and sanitize my a/c ductwork. He took the blower assembly out of the a/c unit and completely cleaned inside the unit! Who else does that? No more mold!! John D."

"Since we recently moved here, I used Home Advisor to help me find someone to clean my sectional sofa. Stu Smith, the owner, called me the next business day to discuss my needs and give me a quote. I told him I wanted to talk to the other company recommended before deciding who I would hire. Needless to say I was not impressed by the competitor so I made an appointment with Stu. He showed up on time, he evaluated the condition of my sofa, and brought in the cleaning supplies he needed. We had a great conversation while he removed the stains and made my couch smell like citrus. He gave me a bottle of CitruSolution and told me how to keep my upholstery clean. I thank him for his advice and his offer to recommend other businesses as we are new to the area. I also thank him for his support of veterans and the discount he gave us for my husband's service in the United States Marine Corps!"

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You can use dish soap mixed with warm water to clean just about any type of flooring, and while vinegar is a great addition to some floor cleaners, it’s not a good idea to use it on wood flooring or engineered wood flooring. Vinegar is very acidic, and it can gradually eat away at the protective finish on wood floors. If you’re cleaning laminate, tile, concrete, or vinyl floors, feel free to use vinegar and water in a 1-to-1 ratio with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, substitute the vinegar for olive oil.

Your schedule for deep cleaning will depend on how often you clean regularly and how dirty your home gets. If you clean weekly and keep things tidy, you may only need to deep clean once a year. But if you don’t keep up with regular cleaning or have pets that drag in mud and shed all over the house, you might need deep cleaning two or three times a year.

The self-cleaning oven mode turns the heat in your oven up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit to incinerate any stuck-on food or grease. This process can make your home uncomfortably hot for several hours. It can also emit unpleasant smells in the house and release carbon monoxide. It can be irritating to people with respiratory conditions. Never leave the house unattended when using the self-cleaning oven feature.

How often you clean a bathroom depends on how often you use it and how many people are in your home. In general, a bathroom should be cleaned once per week or every other week. But a bathroom deep-clean done at least every two weeks allows you to keep bacteria and mildew away.

Many modern sculleries have a full range of kitchen appliances and are capable of whipping up large amounts of food—and cleaning the resulting dishes—and can be considered a smaller, more purpose-built kitchen. In some households, such as those with a private chef, the scullery is often used much more than the main kitchen.
