"It ended up we needed a new thermostat. The tech could have very easily convinced us that the blower motor had failed and required more major service as he first suspected. This was the 2nd service call on this unit in 3 months with same symptoms. "My initial contact with Jon and Chris on May 26th was to see if my existing unit 16 year old A/C could be repaired. The unit works very well so far, cools very well and is amazingly quiet.  I was impressed with all four of the men who represented Amtek.  I would also like to mention that about a week after the unit was installed I was solicited by the same company to purchase a new unit.
