"Initially, everything went very well. The initial inquiry call was handled well and they were very accommodating in getting us on the schedule for an inspection and estimate. The did well to call on the day of the inspection and give us a window on when they would come out. From a service delivery standpoint, I would recommend the company. Their estimate, however, was more than double the other quotes we received and what customarily would be the cost for this project. Their quote was about $25 per square foot, when the cost should be in the neighborhood of $7 - $10 per square foot. I have no problem paying a premium for good quality and workmanship, but this was a little extreme, so we decided to go with a different contractor.show more

"The project got off to a bad start because the first crew didn't seem prepared for the size or scope of the job and said they needed to talk to their project manager who was out of the office. The job was supposed to start on a Tuesday but didn't start till Friday which cost me a couple extra nights in a hotel. Once the new crew started the project progressed quickly and they worked over the weekend to try and recover some time.show more

"Pioneer did all the work - they did the permitting ( no small task in my county) - removed exsisting structure - rebuilt new structure and screened. The job required new roof gutter and down spouts, assembling the aluminum frame to code, hanging the screen, and clean up. I am very pleased with all the above. The owner kept me informed of all the process. The 2 workers showed up as they scheduled in all phases and the owner showed up to make sure everything was as it should. "Installers were wonderful. Great job, showed up when they said and completed the work on time. Final product is GREAT!! So pleased. My only disappointment was with the sales managers. Lack of responsiveness, not good at answering questions and her general communications were poor. I needed to keep following up and tracking her. But all other dealings with the company was excellent. The quality of the construction, materials, and professionalism of the engineers and installers was so good; all in all I would still recommend them for the final product.show more

"This is a quality-focused business, not a handyman job. Mike F. repaired 4 sliding glass doors, one of which was a double-thick, heavy insulated glass door. He noticed I was curious, and took the time to explain many details that other technicians would simply consider routine. He showed how earlier attempts at repair by the previous homeowner went the cheapest route and ended up actually damaging the door and tracks. His decades of experience gave me complete confidence and trust in his work, evidenced by the completion of four doors with roller and track replacement completed in under two hours! The five year warrantee on their work was music to my ears. While the cost was a bit more than I expected, it was reasonable for the work done and I'm satisfied that I won't have to spend any more money fixing other's faulty repairs.show more
