"The owner is very pleasant, however the work done was poor and sloppy. Fixtures were installed incorrectly and damaged in the process, the shower floor had a dip where the water pools, tiles had to be pulled off and redone due to poor craft men ship, wholes were made on adjacent walls, seams don?t meet up on trims which look very sloppy, work areas were left very dirty and with grout haze all over, and the job took much longer than agreed on, approximately 2 months longer. Ricardo was very nice and tried to fix some things, but most of it just couldn?t be fixed. The workers did not do a good job and Ricardo should have been there supervising to avoid the problems."

My shed was nearly destroyed in Milton and all the original drywall and insulation had to all be removed. My shed was down to wood beams, and all the A/C escaping drove my electric bill up hundreds of dollars. They came to give me an estimate within 24 hours and thoroughly explained everything to me. My shed was full of bins of sentimental and other important stuff. They had to move everything out first and then put it all back in. You may not need to use a drywall anchor, depending on what you're hanging and where you're hanging it. If you can nail or screw into a wooden stud, the wood will provide enough support and stability in many cases. In most cases, walls don’t have to be removed to rewire a house. Much of the new wiring can be run through attics and crawlspaces, and then electricians often use a tool called fish tape to pull the cables through the walls via cut access points that can be easily patched up without requiring any major demo work.

There are several things you should not do when installing drywall. Common mistakes include: adding too many screws, over-sanding, not adding backing support, and installing drywall unevenly. You also should avoid screwing into the same place twice, installing Sheetrock with tapered edges on the outside, and making too many joints.

You shouldn’t leave drywall outside overnight, especially if you live in a wet or humid climate. The moisture from humidity, rain, or other elements can damage the drywall, making it weaker and susceptible to mold growth. Stash any extra drywall in a dry area away from the elements to protect it from moisture.

It doesn’t matter which way you lay drywall, and you can choose to install it horizontally or vertically depending on the size of the wall and how tall the ceiling is. It’s easier to lay drywall sheets vertically if you have a taller ceiling, but laying sheets horizontally makes it easier to apply joint compound.
