Even knowing he would not get the job he spent about 45 minutes offering a doable solution, explaining some of the things to be aware of when hiring roofers in FL, gave us a deeper understanding of the use of solar panels on roofs, and some very useful information about government programs to help consumers with the costs of replacing their roofs. The problem was that the estimator only saw one roof layer when there were two. One would assume that a trained estimator would know this. They charged extra for removing the second layer, which i found out about after the job was in process. Also, beware of gutter guards, which may need to be removed. If your guards are expensive, make sure reinstallation is included in the job estimate."
