"We had used Peninsula in 2015 when we needed a pine removed and the pretty much the same Palms addressed and they were every bit professional. Intervening years we hired local fellows touting their tree service and lived to regret it [... their shoddy ways fortunately didn't result in claims against our homeowners insurance]. When Tony wasn't able to come out on the original appointed date he gave plenty of notice and asked if he could come on the weekend, instead, an appointment he made and kept. By this time I'd met w/ 2 other tree companies and knew the extent of work they were suggesting and quoting. Tony's estimate, at $700, was most reasonable and remained so, even after 'Stevens' gave a quote the following Tuesday. It was understood that since this wasn't a big job for this St. Pete operation it could be scheduled when Tony & crew were available. The work was arranged for last Friday, a little over 2 weeks from when the job was estimated. The fellows arrived promptly, got straight to work and were finished w/i several hours time. There was a great deal of climbing, sawing, and carting of heavy tree pieces and it was clear that the team worked well and in unison. My husband was asked if he was satisfied w/ the work before they left and 'satisfied' would be mild praise. He felt that, for the money paid, Peninsula most definitely earned what was charged. Further, they most likely will get asked to do future years' pruning WITHOUT the fahlderahl of getting competing bids."

"Nick and his crew are the absolute best at what they do. They were on time, organized and professional throughout the process of trimming our trees. They completed the job in less than three hours including debris clearing and removing. They cleaned up and left my entire yard and driveway spotless. Surprisingly, Nick beat his competitorsâ prices by a substantial margin while providing superior work quality. I highly recommend Nick and plan to call on him again in the future."

"We hired Rowland & Sons Tree Service to grind a huge tree stump and then level the area were the stump was and we could not be more pleased with their work. They arrived on time, were very friendly, and provided excellent customer service. We had a team of three (mom, dad, and son) who worked together to get the job done. In addition to grinding and leveling we asked them to save the soil/sawdust which they did happily and placed it in containers which we provided. They saved our sod which we easily replanted. I highly recommend Rowland & Sons for this type of work."

Called several tree service companies on Angie's list for estimates.  Needed to call/email twice to Experience Tree Service.  Once contact was made responded within 24 hours.  During the estimate process apologized for not getting back to initial call.  Asbel, owner, advised that he was having problems with voice mail calls on his business phone.  

 Was given an estimate of $1500.00 for the listed service.  This was over $500.00 LESS than other tree companies.  He also advised that I needed a tree removal permit, which he included in this price (other company was going to charge an additional $85.00).  I agreed to his estimate and hired him for the job.  I emailed him information for the tree permit request and he did the paperwork with the county.

 On Saturday March 29, 2014 he arrived with a thee person crew and completed the work.  I asked for several other branches to be trimmed, not on original quote, and he did them at no charge.  Property was cleaned and both neighbors driveway were cleared of any possible debris.  Job took less that 1/2 day.  Great Job Asbel.

"Excellent work and very professional!  I found Beavers Tree Service on Angie's List and contacted them.  The owner, Rebecca was very quick to return my call and get an estimator (Paul) onsite within a couple of days.  Rebecca visited the property and performed a follow-up estimate when there were concerns about whether a permit was needed.  The team arrived a little late but through no fault of their own; they encountered some issues with a large tree removal job before mine.  The team stopped by and introduced themselves and explained what they were going to be doing step by step and were available to answer any concerns or questions I may have had.  
Rob, Spider, John and the rest of the crew were very professional and took great care to move my daughter's playhouse and trampoline as not to risk damaging anything and really cleaned up well after they were finished.  I've used a few tree services companies in the area but Rebecca's company is a stand out as she communicates well with the customer and puts their needs and concerns first and makes sure the customer is completely satisfied with the finished work.  Also a thank you to James who performed the stump removal work and subsequent clean-up of debris.  I highly recommend this company to anyone needing tree service work; you will get quality service and work at a great price!

"I have used Mid-Florida tree service for years and loved them, but this time I dealt with a new arborist-in-training since the arborist I have always worked with was unavailable. I requested the removal of a low-hanging branch, but, due to a 50/50 misunderstanding, the wrong branch (a cherished, fern-covered, beautiful branch that gave me privacy from the neighbors) was removed. Further, the crew damaged our gate/fence with the truck and left deep ruts in our yard. 
Though all these things were distressing, I would not be writing this review except for the arborist's lack of follow-through. The work was done on Monday, and that day, he apologized about the branch, and I told him that, given everything, I thought we were due a partial refund. I planned to use the money to purchase a large staghorn fern or two and heavy-duty hangers to fill the empty spot. He said he'd look into the refund and promised that the fence and ruts would be repaired that week. I never heard back from anyone that week. The next week, after he got my message from the week before, he did send out a man who did an excellent job repairing my fence and gate, and that man left some buckets of dirt for us to fill the ruts ourselves. I spoke with the arborist a second time, and he said he'd look into a partial refund. No one has ever contacted me again.
I am disappointed with the lack of response from Mid-Florida Tree Service.

"Today Outdoor Experts LLC (Tree Trimming etc) trimmed our queen palm, and the overhang branches from another tree near our mailbox. They did a very good job, working quickly, efficiently, and they cleaned everything up when the work was completed."
