He showed up and discovered the problem in five seconds. It was quite embarrassing. The fuse box circuit had tripped. I didn't realize the two components are on different circuits and never gave the fuse box a thought. He refused to take any money and didn't make me feel stupid at the same time. "Osbert was one of the most knowledgeable hvac techs I have met. My furnace trouble (2 yr old unit) had several causes and he persevered until he found them all. Believe it or not, one of the main problems was that a screw on the thermostat was incorrectly installed, so the thermostat wasn't always triggering the air handler. Ive done business with them for more than 10 years, both at home and for my rental property, and Ive never been disappointed. Highly recommend!"

The installer, Matt worked tirelessly over the next two days installing the ductwork in our very hot attic. And replaced the units inside and out. When I asked if there was a way I could finance half of the expense, as the ductwork put me over budget, Paul arranged financing through a company within ten minutes of my request.
