"We had an excellent experience. Rob did a fantastic job installing our water heater—he was professional, efficient, and thorough. Kara, the phone receptionist, was equally outstanding—friendly, helpful, and made scheduling easy. Together, they made the process smooth and stress-free. Would absolutely hire them again."

"I used to get water in my basement every time it rained. I had a sump pump installed and I still got water through the cracks. Seal pro Max was the perfect solution for me for fraction of the cost of other solutions. With all the snow and rain we’ve had this year I didn’t get a drop of water in my basement. The guys were very knowledgeable and professional and were able to finish the job in one day. I wish I knew about this years ago."

"Anthony V. and Cooper W. were on time, very professional and knowledgeable. They carefully removed the patio pavers in about 12 different spots, drilled through the underlying slab, applied the expanding foam to fill in empty or weak pockets that had formed over time next to our pool, and then cleaned up and replaced the pavers so well that you cannot tell that any work had been done. VERY IMPRESSIVE!"

"Drain Line Breakage - Camera Locate from 12/04/19: Very professional staff, the plumber came by and gave me an estimate for running the camera. It was the lowest price I had been offered from all the companies I got in contact with, glad to say the issue was resolved that same day. Will definitely keep in mind for any future plumbing issues. Toilet Install or Repair UPDATE 7/31: I had two young guys come over and work in my bathroom, they exchanged my toilet and vanity. They were both very professional and worked effectively. I would recommend this company."

"My interaction with Jay’s Drain Cleaning was exceptional. Jay( the owner) kept me updated throughout the job and never once told me a lie. Even when he was called away for emergencies he never halted work on my job. I would, without hesitation, hire him again if and when needed. His office staff ( his wife) was great to work with also."

"He was amazing & extremely patient with me. Hooked up my plumbing & explained everything. His pricing was fair & honest. I highly recommend him. I had a few estimates including his prior to choosing & I felt myself being taken advantage of with each, until Monroe’s. Monroe’s was the Only one that spoke of or suggested that a pump be added! He installed the pump & showed me how to do everything & said “if you get stuck just call me” Extremely satisfied & thankful."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Keep your egress window from flooding by ensuring that the drainage system in the window well is clear and in good working condition. Inspect the window well every few months to remove any blockages and test the drainage system. It’s better to discover potential problems before your window well fills with water during heavy rain.

Yes, pop-up drains commonly get clogged with hair, soap scum, and toothpaste. It is important to know how to properly clean the drain or get professional help to ensure it remains clear and can drain water effectively.

A good option for opening up and cleaning a sink drain is to use a ¼ cup of baking soda and 1 cup of white vinegar, along with a rubber stopper to cover the drain while those materials work their magic. After about 15 minutes, you can flush the drain with hot water. In many cases, these materials can scrub out minor clogs and get the drain working properly again. If the issue persists, call in a plumber near you to get the problem permanently fixed.

An AC drip pan may stop draining if there’s a clog where the drip pan connects to the drain line. Clogs can form from a lack of cleaning or from rust or corrosion buildup. Cleaning the drip pan at least once per month lowers the chances of debris clogging the drain line.

It is safe to flush small amounts of bleach down the toilet. Don’t flush more than ¼ cup of bleach. Instead, consider diluting it and pouring it down the sink drain.
