"Mike arrived on time and unclogged the storm drain as promised. Price is not cheap but I am glad my problem is solved quickly and without further surprise. Mike also taught me how to deal with roots to prevent the drain from clogging again, and that’s highly appreciated."

"Joe did a fantastic job of moving some plumbing in the wall. There was a small opening and he managed to move the pipes without needing to cut further into the drywall making it super easy to clean up afterwards. Very happy with the results. Will use again in the future."

"I initially contacted Filtration Direct through an Angie's List Big Deal promotion. After receiving a call and discussing my options, I opted for the entire home water filter system.
The installer showed up in the morning and discussed with me where it would be installed. Fortunately we had a good spot on the outside of our house. Since the tanks are guaranteed for life, I was not worried about them being out in the elements. The installer did a good job of installing, and even ran the electrical under a concrete pavement to keep it hidden.
Overall really happy with the purchase and the installation.
I primarily installed the systems as I was seeing corrosion on many of my water faucets in the house. Since this is a relatively new home, we are the original owners, I hope that this will increase the longevity of the fixtures.

"Drain Line Breakage - Camera Locate from 12/04/19: Very professional staff, the plumber came by and gave me an estimate for running the camera. It was the lowest price I had been offered from all the companies I got in contact with, glad to say the issue was resolved that same day. Will definitely keep in mind for any future plumbing issues. Toilet Install or Repair UPDATE 7/31: I had two young guys come over and work in my bathroom, they exchanged my toilet and vanity. They were both very professional and worked effectively. I would recommend this company."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Clogs in a sprinkler valve can be caused by various factors, including debris in the water supply, sediment buildup inside the valve, or damage to the diaphragm. Debris and sediment can accumulate over time, obstructing the valve's passages and impeding water flow. Damaged diaphragms may develop tears or holes, leading to blockages and affecting the valve's ability to open or close properly. Regular maintenance and cleaning can help prevent and address these issues, ensuring your sprinkler valve operates smoothly.

Vinegar is better for an AC drain line because it’s less corrosive and won’t damage the pipes. It’s also a safer and easier product to use. Bleach should not be used on your AC drain line because it can corrode your pipes and harm the evaporator coil in your air conditioner.

When you put baking soda and vinegar down the drain, they chemically react and help break down clogs. It’s not going to work for every type of clog, however. For example, it’s not the best way to get rid of grease buildup. For grease, you should try boiling water and white vinegar instead.

If you want to avoid using a snake to unclog a drain, or if you don’t have one, try vinegar and baking soda. Pour 1 cup of baking soda down the drain, followed by 1 cup of white vinegar. Wait for 15 minutes, and then run hot water (but not boiling water) down the drain to see if the clog is clear. Repeat multiple times as needed.

To unclog a plumbing vent, you first need to locate it. Look at your home's roofline. The plumbing vent will be a vertical pipe sticking straight up from the roof. Since this pipe runs all the way to the main drain underneath your house, you should also be able to find it in the attic.
