"George did a beautiful job renovating our two bathrooms ( one with a stall shower and one with a tub and shower ). He made suggestions for the shower/bathtub units, flooring, toilet and vanities. We are very happy with the end results and would highly recommend him."

"Jim came over the same as I called to estimate the job, and stuck by the price. This was a more complex project than a standard toilet, due to the upflush requirements ,but Jim worked diligently and got it installed and operational in a single day. While there, he also fixed another issue at an extremely reasonable price. He even called a few days later just to make sure everything was ok. Unlike other firms I have dealt with you are not paying for a sales staff, ads, etc... when you call you simply talk to Jim- and he was very enjoyable to work with."

"Orbit installed a Puronics water filtration system in my home over a month ago and all I can say is WOW! It is by far the best investment I have made for my family. I knew our county water was harsh and heavily chlorinated (I could smell and taste it), but I had no idea what a tremendous difference a Puronics system would make on everything in my home from bathing my kids, washing dishes, doing laundry and preventing water rings in my clean toilets. The alkaline drinking water is the cherry on top! This system has by far exceeded all of my expectations. Not only is this system the best in the industry, Orbit’s team, lead by Shelby, was exceptional, kind, and amazing to work with. I received wonderful customer service every step of the way. All of my questions were answered with factual information and data. Our installer, Travis, was very knowledgeable and further solidified working with Orbit was a great decision for my family. A high quality install was a must for me, especially with plumbing involved. The lifetime warranty Orbit provides stands alone in comparison to their competitors. While a Puronics system is more costly than the DIY system available from a local hardware store, it is worth every penny and will stay with my family for life. The quality is in a league of its own! I highly recommend!!!"

"I purchased my granite countertop from AGS.  My friend used them for her countertops and recommended them.  Ordering was straightforward.  They laser measured and installed on exact dates and times given.  Installers could not have done a better job.  The best price, and no hidden fees.  I was given a sample of the granite to take with me.  All of the staff could not have been more professional.  They are a pleasure to deal with.

Toilets questions, answered by experts

Installation costs range from $150 to $400, depending on toilet type and labor.

In most cases, it’s better to repair a toilet than to replace it. Fixing issues like low water levels, running water, and flushing problems is less expensive than buying a new unit. Start thinking about replacement if the toilet is cracked, using excessive amounts of water, or is over 15 years old. Newer models are more water-efficient and clog less often than older models.

If a toilet is not properly vented, you could experience issues like poor drainage, slow flushing, frequent clogs, malfunctioning traps, gurgling noises, and the release of sewer gasses. If left untreated, all of these issues could lead to longer term structural damage or (in the case of sewer gasses) harmful health side effects.

While a toilet dripping on the outside can be caused by condensation, a toilet that is constantly dripping on the inside is usually caused by a deteriorated flapper. This is one of the most common types of toilet leaks. As the flapper degrades, it won’t seal properly, and water will constantly leak into the toilet.

After flushing the toilet, you should have about half a tank full of water. While the exact amount of water you’ll have will vary, you want to make sure you have enough to cover the bottom of the bowl and enough to sit above the P-trap drain. While low water in your toilet bowl can indicate a problem, too much water can also be cause for concern.
