Arrived at house late in evening and found a broken water pipe. There had been cold weather lately. I called a few options and none were available. Benjamin Franklin had availability to come that evening.
Person arrived at time he said he would, called to let me know he was on the way.
quickly diagnosed problem, replaced section of PVC. waited and tested repair to make sure everything was OK.
Very friendly plumber, was very satisfied with job.
A little expensive, but it was an "emergency" call late on a Friday night, so I kind of expected it.

They did great! Had to go to the parts store TWICE to get the needed parts (old toilet) but now the toilet water fill valve no longer thinks it's a fountain head. ;-)

I called them on December 6, 2013 late in the afternoon to check a leak in the yard to confirm if it was on my side of the meter or not.
They sent someone out around 5 PM that Friday afternoon and confirmed that it was our leak to repair. The person that showed up was very polite and professional and was thorough in confirming the area of the leak. They charged $99 to come out that evening, but did apply the $99 towards the total replacement cost if I used them to replace my water service.
They did not work the following Monday due to weather conditions. Two guys returned Tuesday to begin the work. There were a lot of roots in the way that had to be cut out while hand digging the ditch for the new service. The entire ditch had to be dug by hand due to other utilities and bushes and trees that were in the way. They worked most of the day in the rain.
They returned again on Wednesday and finished digging the trench and then laid out the new service line and made the connections on each end.
There were 3 different guys involved in this whole process. Only two of them were at my house at any one time. All three of these gentlemen were very prompt, courteous and professional. They worked very hard and also in the rain for most of the first day.

The Technician was wonderful! super professional. After we called for service the tech arrived within an hour. This man wore booties on his shoes coming and going from the basement and changed them after going to his van for supplies. I appreciated that!

We asked for an estimate to install 3 sink faucets that we had already purchased and repair a leaking garden hose hook up. We were shocked by the offered price and decided to not let them do the work. Another plumbing company only charged us 1/4 of the price that this company requested.

They misdiagnosed a simple faucet leak. Only after replacing water lines at $500 did they realize - ooops the water lines were not the reason for the leak. You need a new $25 faucet....The property is a rental and I had to rely on their honesty. Very shady.

They were friendly, professional and courteous. They also were prompt and it generally was a positive experience. When they came in I told them what I thought the problem was and what needed to be done to fix it. The plumber pointed out that this was, indeed, the problem, but that there was an easier fix. He did the easier fix, which I am assuming saved me some money.

The gentleman who came out knows his job. They are very knowledgeable. Ben Franklin referred me to a specialist who could do this for. He informed me it would be cheaper for me to use someone local. They referred me to a gentleman named Chris Jones, who's right here in town. To give you an idea, I went over to the Post Office just the other day and ran into Mr. Jones. They help save the customer some money. I would not only use Ben Franklin again but I have already recommended them to friends!

This particular young man was wonderful and was nice enough to run to the store with me as I bought the wrong fixture for the tub. I didn't expect him to do this with me. He was very friendly, polite, and always wore his blue shoe covers in the house.

speedy and efficient

Ben Franklin came out on a emergency call on a Sunday due to us losing water, what we didn't know was the main septic pipe pulled apart under the house and left a foot of liquid sewage. Shawn crawled under our home and found the problems and had a clean up crew from Gale Force, that they work with, come out that evening to start. He returned the next day and got our water running and returned on wednesday to finish the repairs. Would highly recommend both Ben Franklin, Shawn, and Gale Force to our family, friends and co workers.

I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to service my existing hot water heater. They found multiple problems with the entire system including the wrong size gas pipes which led to the early malfunction and destruction of the hot water heater. I had them replace the gas lines, remove two existing hot water heaters, and install two hybrid tankless water heaters. They completed all the work including the building of the rack to hang the units on the wall in the garage and repair of all the drywall that was opened to replace the gas lines. The crew was knowledgeable, prompt, and courteous. The work exceeded my expectations and I will definitely use them again.
