"Rob was our technician - wonderful customer service and showed up on time on a last minute Friday afternoon call. A bit more expensive than I'm used to for clearing a drain, but very happy he got it done for us so can't complain. Would use them again for sure!"

"Jim Stephens was great! We contacted him late at night and he was here the next day. He thought it was the garbage disposal and so it was. He carries them on his truck so there was no delay! He ran the disposal, faucet and dishwasher to ensure all lines were secure. Jim is responsive, efficient, clean working, affordable and friendly! Thank you Jim!"

"What can I say about George! He is an artist of his trade. Took his time, measured everything perfectly, and the entire construction came out flawless. The caulking looks like it was made from a machine. He is extremely knowledgeable, hard-working, and will not leave the job until it’s perfect.. also a really nice guy!. No doubt in my mind he’s the best in trade and will hire him for the rest of our bathrooms! I highly recommend him! It’s hard to find contractors of this quality... if not impossible... i’m glad I found him. Thank you George!"

"The experience was a great one. The response was quick and the job was done immediately. I was delighted. The pricing was very reasonable and I was very pleased with the work and the clean up! They are definitely on my list. They even returned the next day to fix a matter I mentioned just in passing. A++ in my book!"

"Due to the prior work being done improperly, there was some minor damage to the roof immediately adjacent to the repairs. this was quickly corrected for no additional charge and since they felt bad about having to come out again, they also cleaned my gutters.
very happy with this company and would use them again although I should not need them for years to come. recommend them. they are very concerned with getting the job done correctly."

On average, a plumber will take 30 minutes to two hours to clear a clogged drain. If the clog is located close to the drain or an access point and isn’t severe, the project will take about half an hour. If the clog is deep within your plumbing system or is a severe blockage, it can take two or more hours to remove the clog. For this reason, main line clogs tend to take longer, usually between two and three hours.
It’s possible to snake minor drain clogs yourself, provided they sit within a foot or two of the drain itself, but it’s usually best to hire a professional plumber regardless. Even experienced DIYers have a high chance of accidentally pushing the clog further into the drain using a drain snake or another tool, so hiring a plumber is the ideal course of action. A professional plumber can use camera equipment to locate and identify the clog, and remove the entire blockage to fix your issue permanently.
In most areas, drain cleaning professionals don’t technically need a license, as they aren’t altering your plumbing system in any way. However, we recommend hiring a drain cleaning professional with a plumbing license and certification. Certified plumbers are more likely to provide professional solutions to drain clogs without damaging your system. They’ll also have the diagnostic tools and experience necessary to remove the clog entirely rather than providing a temporary solution, as a handyperson might. Use Angi’s state licensing tool to check your plumber’s professional licenses before hiring.
Applying drain cleaner is a common DIY solution to clogged drains, but it can be extremely harmful to your pipes and lead to corrosion and leaks. It is almost always better to try snaking a clog than using a drain cleaner, but the best solution is to hire a professional plumber. They can locate the clog and gauge the severity using a camera system and then decide if using a plumber’s snake, auger, or drain cleaner is the best option to remove the clog and limit damage to your plumbing system.
The average cost to unclog a drain is around $200, with prices ranging between $110 and $800, depending on the type of drain and the extent of the clog. Hiring a professional to snake the toilet or sink will usually cost between $110 and $275, a bathtub or shower typically costs around $225, and a main line clog can cost between $100 and $800 based on the severity of the clog and how far beyond the access point the clog sits. Since the labor involved varies, most plumbers will charge an hourly rate for drain cleaning.
