They provided literature, kept me highly informed of status, arrival, appointments, and work progress. They also completed a beautiful job on my neighbor's chimney rebuild/replace. The work looks really great and it is apparent that Mr. Thomas, Dwight, and the masonry crew take pride in their workmanship and quality. The job was completed within 2 days and so far, everything is looks fantastic. Waiting for a cool day to crank up the fireplace. They also provided a professional lamination card and pen for reminders of next year's chimney sweep. "I've used American Professional several times at various houses I've lived in or owned. They are an honest and professional company that does good work and stands behind it. I recently got them to give me an estimate on rebuilding the top portion of a chimney that needs brickwork. They inspected the chimney, told me it was safe to use, and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the chimney rebuild, saying that it can wait until spring if I wish. From my experience, they will do everything they can to satisfy the customer, whether it's a simple chimney cleaning or custom work. This is the best chimney company in the DC area by far."

When the cleaner showed up, he inspected the chimney and found that a cleaning was not necessary and didn't charge for it, and instead walked us through steps to talk to better operate the chimney. Since then, smoke has not been an issue."

"I believe it took a couple of days to complete. We had a mixed experience. The chimney work was mostly fine, but we had leaking through the ceiling after they did the work. They came to look at it and they said it was not due to their work, but we had other contractors look at the chimney and they said it was because of the chimney rebuild."
