"Mr. Thomas, Dwight and crew performed the level 2 chimney inspection (only/no sweep requested) and repaired the brick/masonry of the chimney, including repacing the flue liner and repair of the chimney box. They provided literature, kept me highly informed of status, arrival, appointments, and work progress. They also completed a beautiful job on my neighbor's chimney rebuild/replace. The work looks really great and it is apparent that Mr. Thomas, Dwight, and the masonry crew take pride in their workmanship and quality. The job was completed within 2 days and so far, everything is looks fantastic. Waiting for a cool day to crank up the fireplace. They also provided a professional lamination card and pen for reminders of next year's chimney sweep. I only slightly hit the value as I would have loved the inspection price to be part of the repair and the receipt, but overall, great experience, great A+ rating on BBB and both licensed and bonded. "Frustrated that I wasn't getting a consistent assessment from a chimney service person, I ended up getting estimates from five chimney companies, plus an evaluation from a home inspector prior to finally choosing 301-Chimney. I chose Stefan and his company because he was really knowledgeable about flue replacements and did not advocate for excessive and unnecessary rebuild of my chimney, (House is 45 years old, and although builder grade, it did not require a chimney rebuild, as confirmed by house inspector/3rd party opinion.) Stefan did the evaluation and estimate. He is personable and knowledgeable, not pushy. His company uses quality products and hand parges the smoke chamber, and meticulous attention is paid to tuckpointing. Stefan loves his job and his industry and chooses people to work with him that are likewise engaged as shown by the team he sent for the job, lead by Chepe. Such a nice guy! Worksite was clean and protected every day.. Chepe knew that I was interested in the work product all the way up on the chimney, so he took pictures for me! I appreciated that! Great work by the company at a very reasonable price, and the work had the best and strongest warranty."
