Max came to my home and was very friendly. Gave me an estimate which was very reasonable. Then asked me for half the payment down. When I gave him my credit card he seemed surprised. And said most people pay with check. He left with the down payment and I never saw him again.

Unfortunately I cannot give less than 1 star. This is a fraud company. They request for 50% down and then disappear. Phone goes to voicemail, no way to get a hold of them. Actual scumbags!!!!

They took 50% down payment and won't return phone calls. They are a SCAM! Do not use!

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!! We had a repair done last year, that is now LEAKING and NO ONE will call us back or contact us when we were given a 5 year warranty! DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t use them. When looking I saw reviews saying they came and did the work, issues weren’t fixed and they were never to be heard from again. That’s my case. I paid them 2400 to make repairs which they made and said would have a warranty. I am still having the same issue and they are none existent. I have called multiple times, left text (which he was responsive to before the work) and messages on their site. Nothing. They get you in the door, do the job and then they’re gone for good and you better hope you don’t need them back. Do your research and find a company that won’t turn on you. I’m now $2400 down and in the same place. Read this and move on to looking for another company. Pass this message along and don’t give them the business, they don’t deserve it.

At first they were responsive and match a competitors estimate. They quickly scheduled my chimney repair and make the time to fix my chimney. However, the chimney still leaks, over 4 months later and they will not schedule to come look and finish the repairs so that it does not continue leaking. They called a couple times saying they would put me on the schedule, not call back and they have not returned my calls in months!!

This company is fantastic. They repaired a cracked chimney on my house in preparation for my selling it. I am based overseas so did everything with them virtually. They were very upfront that they would not know until they were on top of the roof to do the work the extent of the repair needed. THey gave a good estimate, and ended up delivering on the price. In addition, they did some "freebie" work -- painting the chimney cage, replacing lids, and capping it all. They company communicated with me at every step of the way, providing exactly the information I needed in real time. They were more than fair and trustworthy - I highly recommend them!

This was by far one of the best companies I've ever had out to my house for a repair Joe the owner was very professional came out the same day I called to give me a quote and explain to me everything they would do We are in the process of trying to sell our house so time was It's very important to us he had his crew out the next morning at 8 o'clock on the. which I can't speak enough about how great those guys were very professional and hard working If you're ever in need of chimney work on your home these are the guys to use I would recommend them to anyone 5 star service

Please do your homework with these guys. They have an F rating with BBB and I'm about to write another scathing review. My mistake was signing a contract and trusting the work would be done properly with a 5 year warranty. After numerous attempts to get them to fix the mortar and crown cracking problems, I've moved on and ate my loss. They didn't even use quality cement! Don't put any stock in their 5 year warranty. This is the 1st time I've written a negative review on anything but very well justified. I would rate less than 1 if I could.

They did 1900 in work which wasn't bad but it still leaks and I finally got a hold of someone one time sent them my invoice and they were supposed to get back to me to come inspect it again. Three weeks later I left multiple messages and still no one has contacted me.

I wouldn't know. After emailing them and leaving 3 different voice mail messages, I never heard back from them. I would not recommend them. It's been over a week since I left the last message and still no response. They are dead to me now.

Joe and his team did a great job repairing our chimney and front steps. They ran into unanticipated problems but kept me informed at all times. They cleaned up very well at the end. I will call them for any future brick work.

Joe and Max were very professional. After dealing with other companies and still having issues I was ready to give up. Chimney guys came in and fixed my issues with my chimney. Now I use them for my rental properties. This is the only chimney company I would recommend. Kept me informed the whole time. What great service.

They have been helping us stay safe/warm since we moved to our new house 5 years ago. We have stayed with them because they do a great job and are great guys. They have taught us a lot about how to take care of our chimney between service, and how to watch out for problems ahead of time. Cleaning has always gone great and easy. They are great about getting in touch with you and getting the job done quickly and leaving your house as they found it.

Worker was so kind and fast. Great work at a great price, also fast service.

My wife hired Chimney Guys Ohio ([*** Link removed ***] on November 2, 2018 to fix our leaking chimney. They charged us $1,290 to fix it and provided a 5-Year Warranty. The chimney continued to leak immediately thereafter and still does today. In fact, it leaks more after their repairs than before. We contacted them several times and in the Spring of 2019 someone finally came out and told my wife they knew exactly how to fix it and left. They never came back. I also called Joe, the owner (Joseph M. Tribuzzoowner), in September 2019 and he said that he had someone working in the area and would have them stop by to assess the issues. No one showed up. We contracted them several more times including via text message on Joe, the owner’s cell phone, as he requested. Still no response. We contracted him again this week via text at the same number and still nothing. Please note that they advertise an A+ Angies List rating on their website. ([*** Link removed ***] All we want is a simple refund. We requested it last Spring and have heard nothing back. The chimney still leaks. Good luck!

Very good! Great team of professional tradesmen.

They took a $600 deposit from me and never showed up again. I have been fighting with them for three years to get my money back. Went to BBB and Attorney General for help. They will not respond to them either. Do not recommend them. I am not the only one they did thei to. Now I have to go to small claims court!

They did an excellent job repairing our chimney. They were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They completed the job in one day, made sure to clean up when finished and the chimney looks great. I highly recommend them.

Maxx came out and reviewed the issue and immediately knew what was happening. He worked up a quote and said he could do the work in the same day due to the urgency of repair. While he was on site, he was very professional and explained what he was doing so there was no confusion. When he was completed, he cleaned up all debris from the work. When completed, a new chimney liner was installed, some damaged bricks replaced and the furnace/hot water tank exhaust piped into the new liner. All in all a good experience!

The Chimney Guys are fabulous. Down to earth, no "chimney jargon" I understood everything they were doing for repairs. They do a great job on cleaning up after the job. I've used them twice and always recommend The Chimney Guys.

He did a great job. In fact he found out there was a fume leak in the chimney liner and it was improperly installed. He repaired that and all the other tuck pointing we needed done.
