AAA Mike Counsil Plumbing and Rooter

We thought we needed just our washer drain unclogged so we called the company that had fixed that before, you guys. Guys came out. Under the house they discovered rusted sewer lines. When we had our plumbing redone years ago, the company who did those did not remove the old lines. Those old lines were up against the sewer lines and were corroding our sewer lines. So we had to replace the sewer lines. A broken line just before the city line was discovered so we had to replace that too. Anyhow, we so appreciated the kind workers who smiled and waved at us. They worked around our water schedule as we have a physically disabled adult son we care for. They let us watch all the things they had to do. I took pictures and the guys were fine with that. My brand new front yard was not ruined by trenchless sewer system that went in. And my yard looks like we never had sewer lines done. It was amazing. Yes, we would recommend you to all

Jerry Biodo, from Mike's Plumbing arrived at 0900 on Sunday morning. He crawled under the house and checked how the water pipes were located to determine if they could be rerouted from the solar pipes. While he was under the house he also checked the septic lines and air conditioner lines. He went up on the roof next and checked where the water was coming from and if there was obvious damage to the roof. He counseled me to contact a Solar Company to have the solar unit removed and roof checked for water damage. As a temporary way to stop the leaking and still give me hot water he cut and capped the leaking pipes. He also checked but could not find a motor to the unit. He said he would be back to reroute the water lines to the water heater as soon as I get the solar units removed. It was a very hot day so I really appreciated Jerry's attitude and all the extra help and advice he gave me

Everything was fine. They gave me a good tip and told me that I could use the city the next time for free if I have the same problem. That wasn't good for their business but that is what they told me.

Excellent job done. They are prompt, very professional and performed work beyond expectations. Kurtis' excavation work was super clean and tidy. He definitely went above and beyond to put all the landscaping back. George was also so quick with a shovel and did a great job.

The only problem we had and they fixed it and they were very conscientious about it, the driver hit back into a fence along our tennis court and then pulled a little bit and they came, rooter rooter came up and fixed it, so they were attentive to us and it was a difficult backing situation and I don't really blame them and they fixed it so in a way it's kind of a good sign because they were conscientious about it, they make a mistake they fixed it. They pump the septic tank pretty straight forward they pumped it out and drove away, he had to come back and do a second one

These guys did a great job. Showed up when they said they would. Did the work in a timely manner. Cleaned and repaired leach lines. Workers were courteous and kept me informed on the problems and what to expect. Fair pricing. I would definitely use these guys in the future and would recommend them to others for similar work

Another outfit claimed we needed a whole new septic system. Eric from Analy Septic came out, did an inspection, and said the eixisting system could be fixed for less than half the cost of a new system. The job was done quickly, and they worked around my schedule. Analy Septic is a local business with 3 generations working there. I met all three family members, and were impressed with their honesty, work ethic, and willingness to repair, rather than replace. They get my highest recommendation

Sequoia Septic Tank Service
5.0
After describing my home plumbing problem to several friends and colleagues, I called Jorge Rues at Sequoia Septic on a Friday afternoon. Our toilets wouldn't flush, water was backing up in the sinks and tub. He answered immediately but wasn't sure he could schedule my appointment the next day. He gave numbers to other major septic companies, which I already had and called. None of the other companies answered their phones. I called Jorge back and he said he would try to come the next morning. He truly sounded empathetic and caring to our plight. At 8:30 the next morning he was outside my home with his truck. Because the previous occupant of our home said they had recently pumped the tank, we were assuming roots were the problem. Jorge opened the tank; it was filled to maximum capacity. He pumped all the waste but there were roots everywhere. He called his root removal team as his job was to pump waste, but decided to work on it himself while he was there. Jorge ended up removing a colossal root the size of a human cadaver. It had snaked up into the pipe that connected our house to the tank. Frankly, I'm not sure how Jorge was able to yank that massive root system out from the pipe but he did! When he unplugged it there was a distinct, ominous ' thunk', noise followed by a deep rumbling. Bam! Niagra Falls exploded from the bowels of the house and poured itno the tank, He had to pump much more water again. Jorge went out of his way to come to my home before his other scheduled appointments. He went above and beyond his job description to personally tackle the root system and use superhuman strength to remove it himself, instead of waiting for his crew. Jorge is a gentleman and a wonderful person

"Brian was at our house with crew Monday morning. The crew worked into the night. A heater install and all the other plumbing work was done in one day. We love the new tankless so far. It puts out good flow, takes up very little space outside, and leaves a big new space in the garage (without open flames near gasoline).

"Mr. De Leon's staff arranged to do the job earlier than scheduled due to expected inclement weather. When I arrived home from work Mr. De Leon had already started cleaning the gutters. He unclogged one of the downspouts then finished the job in an expeditious manner and cleaned all dirt that had fallen to the ground. Very professional.

"I have been on the fence about doing a review of Dempster Plumbing, but a recent issue with the handheld shower (not Dempster's fault; Moen's issue) has pushed me off the fence.
I had several bids and conversations with plumbing companies, and based on my interaction with Corey from Dempster's Plumbing, I elected to try them. Once that decision was made there were many conversations with both Corey and Moen about the correct shower valve, and finally one was on it's way. We elected to do Part 1 first as Part 2 would be a bit more complicated. Corey arrived on time and took care of replacing the faucet, disposal, and re-circulation system expediently. So far so good, and I love the faucet and re-circulating pump.
Corey was going to come the following day, Saturday, to start Part 2, but I said Monday was fine. He told me he was getting married on the 8th (think that is correct) so he'd not be here then. We set another date, but that date came and went, and neither Corey nor anyone else from the company contacted me. I called the company to learn that Cory had quit, and there seemed to be other employee issues as well as the company's owner was out of town on a family emergency, and the individuals I had been working with were also no longer available. Eventually a new date was set and a team of four or five guys showed up. I was quite surprised as this should have been just a one or two-man job. Come to find out when work was well under way that my project was being used as a teaching lab for the install of new PEX lines to copper lines. I spent my life as a teacher; I understand the importance of training. That wasn't my issue. It was the lack of courtesy of asking if I minded before hand not an, "Oh, by the way, do you mind..." What should have taken no more than a third to half day ended up taking a full day. By the end of the day, I had a working shower, and I really just wanted them all gone; however, I did point out that the shower arm was very short, and I'd be running into the wall, which I do. As a result, I mostly use the handheld shower instead of the overhead shower. The supervisor said he had another, longer shower arm he'd install, but that never happened, and I will eventually get around to buying a longer shower arm.
Now comes the tipping point. Moen's shower slide is poorly designed. I've been through several of them, and recently, it failed again. Moen has been wonderful about replacing the part, and the new one arrived a couple of days ago. I have to remove the bar from the wall to replace the slide, and once I did that, I discovered that someone made an error in measuring for the installation of the handheld bar. Instead of one drill hole, there are two. No "measure twice, cut/drill once" here. Would have been nice had the error been acknowledged so it could be filled when a couple of other holes were addressed...begrudgingly.
Overall, the job was more or less satisfactory in that everything functions; the process of getting there left much to be desired. Prior to having my work done, I even recommended Dempster to a couple of other residents for whole house re-pipes. One had a good experience; the other not so, and I'm embarrassed now that I recommended Dempster before having my work completed.
I can only hope that Dempster has sorted out its personnel issues and holds to its commitments.

"Jose and his crew were great! He came highly recommended by a neighbor, who had hired them to completely re-plumb her house. We needed our 75-year-old sewer line replaced: I got an estimate within a day or two of requesting one, and he caught a problem with the original installation that other contractors had missed in their inspection. Jose and his crew did the work as promised and cleaned up the site every day---spotless! We had a small tree that was growing near the line which they managed to save, which we didn't think was going to be possible, and they managed to dig a huge hole in our tiny front yard without a lot of impact to our other landscaping. They handled all the permitting and inspections, too, and made sure I got copies of all the relevant paperwork for our household records. I highly recommend Pipe-Thru, they were so easy to deal with and completely professional all the way. They charged a fair and reasonable price for the work. I will definitely call them when I have any other underground piping issues--including installing electrical conduit to our backyard shed, which we want to do in the future. Can't recommend them highly enough.
Replacing a drain field requires digging up quite a bit of land and involves a decent amount of testing. Using this guide, you’ll learn how much it costs to replace a drain field based on a few key factors such as size and type of septic system.
Answer: There are several signs that indicate your septic tank could be full. These include standing water over your septic tank, a strong odor coming from your yard, gurgling water, slow drains, or a sewage backup. While many of these signs could also be indicative of a clogged system, they should all be checked out by a professional ASAP to avoid costly damages. In the absence of any of these signs, it’s recommended that septic tanks be emptied every 3 to 5 years on average.
How often should a septic tank be serviced?
Answer: On average, septic tanks should be serviced every 3 to 5 years in the absence of any worrying signs that the tank is clogged or full. The size of your septic tank, the number of people living in your home, and your average water usage will all impact how often your septic tank needs to be serviced.
What are the most common causes of septic tank failure?
Answer: The most common cause of septic tank failure is improper maintenance. Failing to pump a septic tank on the appropriate schedule will cause septic tank failure and likely result in a costly septic tank repair or replacement. On average, septic tanks should be pumped every 3 to 5 years, but the size of your tank, the number of people in your home, and your average water usage may shorten or extend this timeframe.
How much does it cost to pump a septic tank?
Answer: The cost to pump a septic tank is $400 on average or about $0.30 per gallon. The size of your septic tank, as well as local labor costs, will impact the cost of pumping your septic tank. Most septic tanks are between 600 and 2,000 gallons in size, meaning the average cost range is between $180 to $600.
How much does it cost to install a septic system?
Answer: The cost to install a septic tank system is between $3,060 and $9,810, on average. The size of the septic tank you choose, the land you’re installing it on, the type of system you choose, and local labor costs will all influence the total cost of installing a septic system. Anaerobic septic tanks (those that don’t need oxygen) typically cost between $3,000 and $8,000. Aerobic systems, which utilize oxygen to activate bacteria and are popular on smaller properties, usually cost between $10,000 and $20,000.
How long does a septic system last?
Answer: When septic systems are well maintained, they can last up to 30 years or more. If a septic system isn’t properly maintained, such as when it isn’t pumped regularly, it may malfunction and require costly repairs or a premature replacement. In general, septic tank pumping is recommended every 3 to 5 years to ensure the septic system lasts as long as possible.
