"This is my first time leaving a review for a company as I've never felt the need to, but using Pacific Environmental I feel I should share with my home owners. My husband and I bought out first home which we love but a room had acoustic ceiling. I reach out to PEAS, which everyone in the office was very helpful and patient on guiding me through this experience. Their scheduling was amazing as I was dealing with Closing Escrow and moving my family in. Once they arrived, they informed me on the scope of work and what they would be doing and what to expect, this being my 8-year-old son room so I was a bit worried on hazardous material that was being removed and used. CONTAINMENT WAS AMAZING! I was so happy and felt so safe on how they kept the area and the protection they took to take care of my family and themselves. My kids thought the crew looked pretty cool too, haha. CLEANING WAS AMAZING! Work was conducted upstairs and they went the extra mile and cleaned everything they touched, I really appreciate that, as it again made me feel secure and safe. PEAS left a memorial memory our kids still talk about. I strongly recommend them and would use them again."

"After the traumatic and heartbreaking experience of the Palisades fires, we had to go ahead and hire a remediation company. We just finished our remediation with Brett from Hunter Restoration and our apartment smells and looks great! Brett and Braulio did a wonderful job! Not only did they do an amazing job with our unit and were very hardworking and dedicated to making our place look amazing… They were also very compassionate, understanding, patient and worked with us and our situation to be able to make this happen for us as smoothly as possible. "Michael Kuretich thoroughly tested the inside and outside of the house for lead paint. He took many samples from linoleum glue (black tar) on different surfaces and had them tested for asbestos. He came back a few times and tested the air after the removal of lead-containing bathroom tiles and flooring that contained asbestos in the glue. He did not charge me for one of his visits and inspections. His price is really fair while maintaining quality. He is knowledgeable ang gives sound advice. I used one of the companies he recommended for lead and asbestos removal and I was very happy with their work as well.
Another company listed with Angie's List wanted much more for the same service. When I asked why, he said that is the price for and quot;wall-to- wall testing.and quot; Please watch out for crooks.

"I have been working with Ron McProud since around 2004 when he found extensive mold in my home after heavy rains led to water penetration. Ron identified the scope of damage, specified the protocol for repair and monitored a third party mold remediation contractor to make sure that they fully-remediated. He issued a report that gave me (and the eventual buyer of the house) complete comfort that the mold had been remediated. At my next home, Ron found mold in our air conditioning return vent and again specified the correct scope of repair (which led to a significant savings, because the water remediation contractor was attempting to perform more work than required). He again provided expert advice regarding what furniture to keep, what to dispose, how to clean, etc. When we moved again to another house and had a blackwater flood from the downstairs bathroom, there was no question that we would call Ron. He came out, tested the area and this time (thankfully!) found no mold at all. It was good to knowo that we have Ron as a resource. He has become our trusted advisor with respect to all water intrusion. Whenever anyone asks for a mold inspector/water intrustion expert, I give them Ron McProud's contact info without any hesitation. In fact, I gave his name to the association of a new 50 unit condo project that was having mold issues, and he quickly assessed the problem and provided a cost-effective solution, reducing the anxiety of the new homeowners who had moved into the project. Ron, thank you for always being responsive, calm and efficient. While I hope to have no more water issues (!), I am glad to know that you are there if we need you."

"Mold was found behind the walls in our master bathroom during demolition for a remodel. We contacted 3 companies for mold remediation estimates. Circle Vision wasn't the cheapest, but their review of the site and estimate was the most thorough, and they made us confident that they would do their best to reduce the amount of additional repairs that would be required after remediation was over. Carlos was the lead for our project and he did a great job explaining every step of the work and was very easy to get ahold of for scheduling. Gus Jr. and Gus Sr. conducted the remediation at our house for 2 days. They arrived on time each day, protected the floor with paper, vaccumed and swept at the end of each day, and left the house cleaner than when they left. They were very professional and answered any questions we had. They left an air scrubber at the house for a few days to make sure all traces of mold were gone. They left the dining room wall covered with plastic so our toddler and cats wouldn't get in to the unfinished bathroom. When the inspector returned, he found everything was done to the letter and we passed inspection with no problems.
