"./I needed a custom cabinet to fit in odd-shaped corner of my bathroom.  I wanted it to match and look consistent with the other cabinets (which were not custom, and stopped when they got near the odd-shaped corner).  Albert from GC Woodworking came out to do an estimate.  He understood exactly what I was looking for.  He asked me some questions that I hadn't thought about.  (Like the toe kick.)   He took very detailed measurements of all the different dimensions where the cabinet would have to fit.  He gave me a price quote.  He would build the cabinet at his shop, then bring it out and install it.   He said he would have it ready and would be available to come back and install in about 10-14 days.  We agreed, and I paid him 50% upfront.
He called me back a week later to say the cabinet was ready, and we set up a date and time for him to come back to install it.  On the installation day, he did end up about an hour late, but it he called to let me know he was stuck in traffic.  (It was raining in Los Angeles that day, so traffic becomes completely unpredictable.)  It did not bother me that he was late; because of the rain and because he had called to tell me know.
Anyway, he came with two of his guys.  (I don't think the job really needed Albert plus two more people.  One guy seemed very new, like a trainee.  I think he was there to learn.)  The cabinet looked beautiful.  They put down some cardboard to protect the floor (even though the floor is stone and there really wasn't much risk of them hurting it, I thought that was good professionalism.  Little details like that say a lot about someone.)  Then they got to work.  I got out of the bathroom while they were doing the actual install.  There were some scary driilling and sawing and hammering noises coming from the bathroom.  I'll admit I got worried for a while that I was going to come in and see the bathroom looking like it had been demolished.  But I decided to just stay out of the way until they were finished.
When I saw the finished product, I was very pleased.  The new cabinet fits perfectly.in the odd-shaped corner.   The color and style matches the existing cabinets.  You would never know that the new cabinet was different.  (Unless you look very closely or start knocking/tapping on the wood.  In that case, you can tell that the new cabinet is built better than the old ones.)  Everything is solid and sturdy.  It makes a big difference in the appearance of the room.  (Oh, and his crew vacuumed up the work area.  No wood shavings or sawdust anywhere.)
I would definitely recommend Albert Goldin and GC Woodworking. I would use him again if I ever need cabinets built.  (It doesn't seem likely that I will need to have more cabinets built.  But if/when I do, I will call these guys.)

Small jobs welcome

"I'm a true believer that people crosses your path for a reason. Ramy and his wonderful team provided the best experience with working with a construction team anyone can ask for. Like others who can relate, I had an awful experience with a past remodeling project that traumatized me for life. It was hard for me to trust just anyone! Ramy took that all away. He was confident, easy to talk to, provided reassurance, and professionalism in every way. He would say, I'm with you until the end! I never thought I would have the kitchen of my dreams and he brought it to life plus more. He was with me every step of the way even on unexpected hiccups that comes with renovation. Not to mention he answered my call or text anytime of the day to provide me updates or answer my questions. His goal was to make sure I was happy with the outcome! Now, I have to pinch myself every day to see if it's really true. I look at my beautiful kitchen and can not stop smiling! Not only did it bring joy to me but my entire family! Thank you! Thank You! Thank You Ramy! I'm grateful for you and your entire team! You are all the sweetest! If you are looking for someone you can trust please don't hesitate, you're in safe hands with R Design! Cabinet Making questions, answered by experts

There are several ways to save money and keep costs down when building an outdoor kitchen. Building on an existing patio can reduce the cost of a new foundation, especially if it's close to the house. You can also save on utility line installation by opting out of a sink and using a built-in propane or charcoal grill. If you have the skills, tackling parts of the project yourself—like building or finishing cabinets, installing fixtures, and constructing seating—can lead to significant savings. Reusing appliances you already have is another great way to cut costs. Finally, consider starting small with just the essential components and adding more features over time as your budget allows.

Costs range from $1,500 to $5,000, depending on the number of cabinets and labor.

It’s best to stick with lightweight cabinets, such as medium-density fiberboard, if you don’t have a wall stud to secure them to. Unless you’re attaching the cabinet to a flat board attached to wall studs, it’s best not to risk it with heavy cabinetry or contents. Solid wood cabinets and heavy dishware should be avoided if you cannot secure the cabinet to a wall stud. Either way, always check the weight on your wall anchors and be sure not to exceed it.

Most assemblies take 1-3 hours, but larger units or those requiring wall mounting may take longer.

Yes, most services include finishing options like staining, polishing, or epoxy coatings. Confirm with your provider.
