"MSJ did a fantastic job. They met us at the storage unit on time, actually five minutes early. They had four guys and two trucks and were fast, polite and professional. They wrapped items with blankets or bubble wrap that could have been damaged in transit. We had a lot of loose items that they put in a couple of big, heavy cardboard tubs during the move. It was obvious these guys know what they're doing. Even the owner of MSJ came to supervise the unloading process to make sure we were happy with the service and attention received. I heartily endorse them and would recommend them for anyone seeking similar moving help."

"I had the best experience with All Service Moving! Mike and Stan absolutely rock - best moving team ever! They moved me into my new house from Sumner to Spanaway, then my mom a month later from Renton. They were so efficient, careful, professional and friendly. They made sure all our items were carefully wrapped and protected and they moved everything quickly, yet effortlessly - I wouldn't recommend anybody else to get you all settled into wherever your moving! Thank you guys!!"

Customers say: Super punctual

"Let me just say, if you're planning a long-distance move, look no further than Let's Move It Right. They exceeded all my expectations. The team was courteous and professional, keeping me updated throughout the entire process. They worked efficiently, and despite the long haul, nothing was damaged. The movers even helped me rearrange a few things in the new place, which I wasn’t expecting but really appreciated. The moving price was more than fair, especially considering the quality of service. Moving is stressful, but these guys made it a breeze. Highly recommend."

Moving questions, answered by experts

As a new homeowner in Simi Valley, start by setting up essential services like security systems, utilities, and trash collection. Within the first month, register with your HOA, complete any necessary local paperwork, and check smoke detectors for fire safety. Given the region’s climate, schedule HVAC maintenance and consider drought-tolerant landscaping to prepare for Santa Ana winds and dry conditions.

Helpful?

In Simi Valley, the average time for moving projects varies based on home size, access, and local conditions. Studio or one-bedroom moves with local movers or packing services typically take 3-5 hours, while 2-3 bedroom homes may need 5-8 hours. Larger homes or those in gated communities can take up to 12 hours, especially during peak moving season or when navigating narrow canyon roads.

Helpful?

In Simi Valley, factors like home size, driveway access, and the presence of specialty items influence whether a move can be completed in one visit. Homes under 2,000 square feet with easy access are often finished in a day. However, properties in canyons, those with large furniture, or locations with HOA restrictions may require multiple sessions from your moving company, especially during peak moving season or extreme weather.

Helpful?

In Simi Valley, prioritize immediate tasks like utility transfers, address updates, and school registrations, as these are often required before move-in. Schedule packing services and coordinate with your moving company early, especially during fire season. Tasks such as unpacking, organizing storage, or landscaping can typically wait a few weeks. Always confirm any move-in requirements or restrictions with your HOA before planning your timeline.

Helpful?

Simi Valley’s hot summers and dry winds can affect your moving day. Schedule moves with local moving companies early in the morning to avoid midday heat, and keep sensitive items protected from high temperatures. Fall brings increased wind and fire risks, so allow extra time for delays. Winter offers milder weather and less traffic, making it ideal for both moving and packing services.
