Small jobs welcome

"Will and the team were awesome! They did a great job washing our windows and pressure washing our walkways, and neither had been cleaned in 5 years. Will has an infectious above-and-beyond entrepreneurial spirit and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and recommend them to friends."

"Wonderful people and outstanding customer service. Loved that they gave an estimate after seeing the actual window that needed repair unlike other companies that offer an estimate before they actually see what the job is and what materials will be needed. Usually some exorbitant and baseless amount. Within a couple of days, Smiley returned with the appropriate materials. They arrived early, which we didn t mind, and the work was fine with excellence. They were also very quick. Again, very kind people from beginning to end. Highly recommend if this is service you need. They will get it done!"

"Mario is an incredible businessman. He was quick to answer our requests, make sure that we had an appointment that fit our schedule, was early to the appointment, worked hard and did an incredible job. We used them for window cleaning but he had a multitude of services and I would not be hesitant using him for any one of them. A good man with a good business that does great work at a good price."

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, you should plan on being home when a window cleaner is cleaning your windows. The professional will clean both sides of the glass and will likely disassemble parts of your windows from the inside to clean and inspect the inner components, including the balances and weatherstripping. Much of this work requires interior access to your home, which means someone will need to be home to provide access to the window cleaner.

In most cases, you should get your windows cleaned one to two times annually, although you might want to complete this task more often if you live in an area with heavy pollen or heavy rain or snowfall that soils your windows. It’s also a good idea to hire a professional window cleaning service if you’re listing your property, as sparkling windows will make a big difference in terms of curb appeal and, potentially, your home’s value.

Getting a streak-free shine after cleaning your windows requires both the right cleaning solutions—which can either include warm water and dish soap or warm water and rubbing alcohol—and the right tools—namely, a squeegee and a microfiber cloth. To make your streak-free glass cleaner, combine one gallon of warm water with a few drops of dish soap, and mix. Apply with a sprayer or sponge, and then dry with a squeegee, microfiber cloth, or old black-and-white newspaper pages.

You can use hot, soapy water, white vinegar, rubbing alcohol, window cleaner, nail polish remover, WD-40, and cooking oil to remove glass labels. You can also apply heat with a hair dryer or steam cleaner. Use a plastic scraper or credit card to remove the adhesive, as a razor blade can permanently scratch your glass.

Professional house cleaners may use a variety of cleaning products, but a great option is a cleaning solution containing ammonia or white vinegar, water, and several tablespoons of dishwashing liquid.
