Mike advised us to have the gas company mark the ground first, as gas lines ran close to where the trees would be removed, a sign of his professionalism and safety awareness. "We had Rock Tree & Hillside come out to a rental house I own to give an estimate on removing a pine tree that was about 70-75 years old and 60 or more feet tall. It was almost dead, so we were worried about it being blown over in a windstorm. We also had an overgrown chinaberry that was getting in power lines and littering the yard. The company worked with my tenant, which I appreciated, so I didn't have to go to the site. 

Carlos and his crew came out and worked quickly to do these jobs as well as pruning an avocado that was not part of the work order. The pine was completely removed and the spot left flat, despite the profuse root growth. The chinaberry required extensive pruning and the crown needed to be raised, which was done professionally. The crown has a nice shape to it now and was not overtrimmed. The avocado didn't require as much but was in a difficult spot. All the detritus was cleaned up and the yard left clean and tidy.

Another thing I appreciate was that when my tenant left for a bit, the neighbor asked if the crew could cut some other branches, and the crew told him no, that he wasn't paying them and they would have to get her permission. This is not to be ungenerous, but the neighbor was kind of trying to take advantage of the situation.

The estimate was $2090, and that is what I paid, even with the extra work and what must have been a ton of debris to remove. I plan on calling the company in the future to remove some dead trees from my own yard.

"Excellent Tree Removal Service by LA Arbor Care In March 2023, our plumbers told us that our sewer pipe ran right under our large Deodar multi trunk pine tree, and that the treeâ  s massive roots had detrimentally damaged the sewer pipe leaving us with no other option other than to remove the tree and grind the stump so they could dig a hole under it to repair the pipe. "I called Alejandro on Saturday. We made an appointment for Sunday and he showed up early. He said he could do the job on Tuesday but then called back later in the day Sunday to say he could get it done on Monday. He showed up right on time, did exactly what I asked him to do, cleaned up and left my back yard looking way better than it had before.
