We have had a Rheem water heater for the past 22 years and wanted to replace it with the same brand. We did purchase another similar Rheem water heater from Home Depot. Alex offered to pick it up from there, deliver it, and install it. So the next day we met him at Home Depot. He went to inspect the new Rheem water heater and noticed it was missing some parts and that it had an electric starter. Which in the past has been a problem meaning more expense for the homeowner prematurely if it goes out, and we all definitely want to avoid that as much as possible? Also, if it does stop functioning correctly you might have to have the unit removed and the new one reinstalled at your own expense, even if the unit is still under warranty. Alex recommended us to go with a Bradford White only gas water heater, which he got us a great deal on. Alex and his crew drained plus removed my old leaking Rheem water heater and installed the new one in no time. He also placed a drip pan and new flex hoses for the water in/out. They were very aware of cleaning up afterward, which most repair people do not. Alex is super nice, informative, personable, and trustworthy. He did not up-sell anything that was not necessary to have like most other plumbers will do. He quoted us a very-very fair price for the work done. They promptly answered and booked me in the same day. They were able to contain the water from continuing to come out of the drains overnight and returned the next day first thing in the morning to get the problem fixed. "Requested a quote on Monday and (thanks to some unexpected rain) Mike and Jonathan gave me a quote the same morning and Jonathan and Jesus were able to start work the next day. All three guys were nice and communicative and really made me feel like they cared. I had my old one piece tub/shower removed, the shower head raised (no more back bends while rinsing my hair!), and a new four piece shower/tub installed with new hardware. The price they quoted ($3800) was well below other quotes I’d gotten (mid-4k) and the timeframe (2 days) was far shorter than the other companies who said it would take a week to complete the project. I cannot recommend Diplomat enough! I supplied my own tub/shower unit (purchased prior when another company just stopped responding mid-scheduling), and the relief I felt at the guys being able to do everything so quickly and with such care is hard to express.
