Customers say: Quality work

"I hired Rustic Wood Paneling Design to tile my front porch. I needed tiling to be done in a relative short period of time since I had an event planned at my home within a week. Within minutes connecting with Home Advisor, George called me shortly after, and together we reviewed the work to be done and agreed on a fair price. George and Max came through for me. They did an EXCELLENT tiling job!!! (I also had two other minor fixes needed to be done that George completed for me....AWESOME!) It is such relief to finally find a good and honest handyman. Thank you George!"

"SB Electrical was great to work with. They called prior to the job to let me know how the job would be handled. Showed up on time the day the work was to begin, discussed the work to be done and completed the job as promised in two days. I would absolutely use their services again and recommend them for any handyman project one might have. Barrett and Mariela provided great customer service during the project and for the following-up as well."

Handyman Services questions, answered by experts

Absolutely, they tailor their approach to address individual requirements, ensuring satisfaction on every visit.

In most states, handypeople do not need to be licensed to perform simple home repair tasks and smaller jobs. When projects exceed specific cost amounts, however, ranging from $500 in California to $50,000 in other states, some municipalities consider them to be contractors, meaning they need to be licensed. To learn if your handyperson should be licensed to work on your job, contact your local governing body or state contractors’ licensing board before starting any work.

Yes, many repair services include blade sharpening as part of the maintenance package.

After cutting Corian® to the right size, you may have to attach it to another piece of Corian®, either at a corner or another seam. One way to create the tightest seam is to place the two pieces of Corian® on a level surface at ⅜-inch apart. Run a router in between the two slabs to create an identical edge on both pieces. Then use the proper DuPont Joint Adhesive for your type of seam and countertop to join the Corian® together.

While a handyperson will do the odd small job for your home, a maintenance person is responsible for conducting regular inspections and repairs. Maintenance people may come in to do small fixes and diagnose any issues you might be facing, but may not have all the same technical abilities as a handyperson.
