"As always Orlando Hutchinson and his crew arrived as scheduled and did a thorough job of checking and tuning up my a/c to get it ready for the long hot summer.
Orlando even gave me a heads up regarding the R22 refrigerant phase out. Basically the refrigerant my unit uses will no longer be produced by manufacturers by 2020 and will only be available in recovered/recycled/reclaimed form.
I appreciate the information as it enables me to prepare for future repairs or replacement of parts and even the unit itself so I am not caught unawares.

"The problem was resolved by cleaning a sensor for which they only charged me half hour labor. He also wrote me a letter when we filed with the licensing board. He suggested that I get a different type of connection from the gas. I wanted to give him some more business because he only charged me 50 bucks. So, I had him come out and do that. He showed up on time and didn?t jerk me around. He didn?t give me an inflated estimate and he did what he said he would do. I am pleased with him."

When challenged none of the other companies could revise their estimate to even come close. Southland is a Mitsubishi diamond dealer so I got full Mitsubishi warranties plus 1 year from Southland of parts and service. The day the installers arrived, on time, it was raining. Jamie and Ricardo used the utmost care to protect my home. They covered the floors, moved and covered the furniture and made sure before they left that I fully understood how to use the remote and operate the equipment. I have attached a photo so you can see for yourself the way they carted for my home. The equipment works perfectly. I would hire this company again in a heart"

"The access panel on the unit was slightly bent as was the unit. Instead of repairing the installers taped it up with duct tape. The panel fell off and I had to call for another service man to come out and correct the problem. The second technician did a much better job."

There was high pressure sales involed which I succumbed into as the sales guys were saying that I had fiber damage in my ducting and since I have kids in the house they said that it was very crucial that I do the change now.
