Hired them to install a gas valve for a water heater took them 3 visits and paid them $1002 for labor. However they did respond fast and showed up

Service was rescheduled three times. That's the reason I dinged the stars. Tech was good when he got here. Price was good.

I had them replace a conventional natural gas 29-gallon water heater in my mobile home. Prompt service and friendly, knowledgeable technicians. They did a good job, but I did not shop around and in the heat of the moment agreed to pay $2,830. for a basic water heater replacement job-(Water heater $700. +Tx and misc. at Home Depot/ 5 star Labor was approx. $2,000 ) The owner thankfully refunded $300 for some items on the invoice that were not installed. After checking costs for this job, I still cannot believe I paid approx. 1,700 dollars just in labor for a straightforward replacement. DO YOUR HOMEWORK FIRST!

I am absolutely stunned by the service I received. The air conditioner starting blowing warm air, a really bad sign. I went on HomeAdvisor and within 30 minutes I was talking to 5 Star Plumbing. They were here so fast. The technician Robert F. was wearing a mask and was here 45 min. later. Within minutes he had found the trouble; and there were multiple issues; electricity to the compressor had tripped, the capacitor was not operating in range and the filters, 4 total, were so dirty; I guess in the 5 or 6 years we've been in this building, they've never been changed. Shame on us! He got the power up and running, cool air was flowing again. He was here the next day to change the filters, including 2 HEPA, installed new capacitor and acid washed the compressor. My invoice arrived via e-mail the same day and included 26 color pictures of everything he did, in the attic, outside. He got it all. I now have them coming out in 6 months to check the filters and make sure it's operating efficiently. I would highly recommend 5 Star. It's nice to find a company that is professional, prompt and efficient. Will call them again!

Great, rapid response, I was very appreciative. Great work, very knowledgeable and very professional. Not very straight forward about the work bid, however. Tried to upsell a lot of unnecessary repairs, which would have been very expensive. My A/C simply required a capacitor, which I bought myself for 30 dollars. The value of the work completed was good (cleaned/ tuned up the unit).

My AC stopped working in the middle of the Friday before the 4th of July. There were companies who took the full day off, another who closed early, but 5 Star came to the rescue. It took the technician a little bit to figure the problem out because it turned out to be something simple (those sometimes are harder to diagnose) but was efficient and professional. The company Old Republic Home Protection assigned me to, Platinum Repair, was a zero. Sat on the phone listening to music for half hour and couldn't wait until it was too late to reach anyone. 5 Star is now on my list when I need future service.

Technician arrived on time and was very courteous. Was able to fix my issue (bad capacitors) in about an hour and we were back up with AC!

Silas was my technician. He was professional and competent. I am glad I chose 5 Star Plumbing Heating & Air to service my air conditioner and because I have confidence in this company I will be calling them in the near future to replace my hot water heater.
