"Brandon came out on a Sunday and looked over the job site for details needed to present an estimate. Within a day I had the estimate with 3 options from low to high, all of which were reasonable the only difference being what equipment I wanted to install. Option #1 and #2 were lower end brands that were less expensive but since the difference in price betwee Option #1 and Option #3 was about $1400, I went to Option #3 which was their top tier brand, Carrier that clearly is an industry leader and trusted brand for longevity. I was installing a SINGLE ductless to cool a standard bedroom size room with a 18,000 BTU unit. The job took a total of about 5 hours since they were mounting the unit in a second floor bedroom and they needed to run the power/refrigerant lines two stories down to the compressor mounted on the wall. Everyone from Office Staff Jim to installers were absolutely wonderful to deal with. You can trust this company."

"My water heater was leaking but glad that I contacted water heater only. I called at 10:00am and by 12pm they were here installing my new water heater. David from Water Heaters Only came in the afternoon of 6/12/18 and it took 2 hours to install to city and state code. He had all the parts and tools to change the water heater on the spot. Old heater was taken away and new heater installed by 2pm.. I would highly recommend Water Heaters Only. They were very professional and courteous."

"From 9:30 a.m. until very late that evening, a crew of four (4) guys, including Orlando himself, worked very diligently and respectfully (e.g., no bad language) at our house.  Mr. Hutchinson again evaluated the old and new systems and explained how the old system components were "over" sized, but that the original ducting was "under" sized.  I agreed with his suggestion to add an additional duct to both the kitchen and master bedroom.  The additional cost, to me, for this modification was very modest considering the additional materials and work they had to do.  And of course it lengthened the time necessary to complete the whole project.  But they stayed and worked very hard and late into the evening to get it all done!  
Mr. Hutchinson and his men placed our needs, as their customers, above their own that day.  And with the engineering solutions that Orlando added to our new system, our family can now enjoy a house that is 100% comfortable in the summer - for the first time time in 18 years!

Thermostat screen went blank-furnace and A/C wouldn't come on

Chris arrived within 1 hour of my call and checked the furnace first. He found a blown fuse and no power to low voltage wires inside the unit. He then checked the thermostat and found it was no longer working. Chris replaced the fuses and the thermostat with a similar unit and tested the entire system. He then checked my A/C unit for Freon levels and found and repaired a wire that had come loose.

Chris was very pleasant to work with and explained what he was checking and why as he went along. He explained how the new thermostat worked and provided me with both the installation and operating manuals. Great service!

"It was a nightmare to come home and find my front door wide open and not even shut with no one around. Some nails and building materials left for me to find by stepping on them.  They threw away the towel that I put under the drop down attic stairwell to protect the hard wood floor. They threw away my decorative vent covers and new thermostat to install their cheap looking ones (they did reimburse me for the vent covers after I complained and tried to get them reinstalled) . The drywall was awful with many cracks  which had to be redone twice and they didn't even cover up the original holes/vents as promised initially. When I tried to get a hold of the salesperson, he claimed he was sick for 3 days but couldn't even bother to have himself or anyone else from his company call to tell me that so I felt ignored. He has lost all credibility as well as things he promised did not happen. One of the other workmen, said that he would remove the wooden vent braces when they took out the old system but they are still there.   The a/c unit was now on my back patio instead of my the back door area where salesman had said it would be fine.  Difficult to get final testing reports from them and city sign offs on permits.  The whole project was supposed to take only 3 days which then was extended to a week and then it was  a month to get it all straightened out and good drywall quality. NOW they say there are fees for HERO so total bill is $3000 more which initially was all inclusive of all fees, etc.  I called the HERO people and they said not to sign off until the balance was correct.
The only good part was that they did work without me having to be there but after all the snafus, I think it would be best to supervise them.  Leslie, the coordinator was appalled, seemed sincerely caring and did everything in her power to get it set right.  The unit is working and the house is comfortable but i don't know if it was worth all the stress and headache that clearly isn't over. 
I have asked to speak to Mr. Ken Starr the owner but they are reluctant to give me any information to contact him... even though the salesperson said he could be contacted.  I am still waiting to get this all resolved and most likely will be after the new years now as it is the holiday season.
