"They arrived at my house and started at 8 AM prompt. They were done within 3 and a 1/2 hours they cut my trees up in manageable sized logs and put them on a hill which made it easier for me to work with. They were awesome and clean and did not leave any debris on my property if you need a tree service with professional men they are definitely the team to hire. Thank you very much for a job well done. ð"

"This is an update to the review I posted for this company on 2/5/20: I received a call that evening after I had posted the review. They arranged to come out the next day and finish the job. They offered me compensation for the damage to our plants. I appreciate the effort they made to make this right. Hopefully, they will consider these reviews and try to make the necessary improvements so costumers do not have the same experience I had."

"I contacted two tree trimming companies. Bailey was easy to schedule the appointments, the estimator was prompt and quickly provided his estimate for services, and their prices were reasonable especially when compared to the other company. I also appreciated that they had set prices for arborist reports. I would definitely use Bailey again."

"I have never had a better crew of workers in my life. they were fast, yet careful, noticed things in our yard that we had not and took care of them as well. They worked hard, worked together as a team and left the yards clean and without any yard debris. They removed 12 trees from our yard, trimmed another 10 or so and even planted 4 new trees for us, including the irrigation. I cannot thank Miguel and his team enough."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Homeowners are usually not responsible for trees that fall on power lines. Power companies usually have utility easements around power lines, which give them the responsibility to maintain any trees within about 15 to 20 feet of the lines.

The ideal depth of a tree notch depends on the tree, but it should usually be between 20% and 25% of the tree’s depth. However, if the tree is leaning towards the direction of the notch, it can be cut more shallowly—at as little as 10% of the depth. When the tree is leaning away from the direction it needs to be felled, you can cut deeper, closer to 30%.

Unlike some fruit trees, such as apple, sweet cherry, or pear that require at least two trees for pollination, most peach trees are self-pollinating. This means you can plant just one tree and still expect it to produce fruit, typically within two to four years. For best results, consult with a local landscaper to choose the right peach tree variety for your specific climate, soil type, and yard layout.

While trees can grow in the curb strip between the sidewalk and the street, this placement often poses the problem of interfering with overhead power lines. It’s best to consult your local utility provider and tree planting service before transplanting a tree that might grow into power lines. Also, you should never work within 20 feet of a live power line to avoid the risk of electric shock. Tree branches should never touch nearby power lines, so it’s essential to ensure your tree isn’t in danger of growing too close to them.

Most tree surgeons cost around $100 per hour or between $70 and $200 per hour for their services. You might get flat fees for more straightforward services, like a tree assessment, tree removal, stump grinding, and one-off treatments, but many times, treatments for tree diseases or pests will be charged based on an hourly rate or a per-visit rate. Since the cost of a tree surgeon can vary widely, it’s best to speak with an arborist near you to get an idea of what your particular issue will cost to correct.
