The owner, Robert Props, was very patient while I kept changing my mind on which trees I wanted to plant. He is a very knowledgeable tree professional and advised me on various trees to plant and which tree selections I should avoid and offered his
reasons. He guided me to make sure my property would look very nice. Robert provided me with an itemized breakdown of charges for each item I wanted done so there were no surprise costs added during my project.
The three workmen who arrived were friendly to me and good friends who have worked together for years. They made sure they understood which trees and shrubs needed to be removed and cleaned all areas well before leaving for the weekend.
Day #2 the workmen delivered 6 large Aptos Blue Redwood trees and 2 medium size shade trees; they made sure the placement of each tree was to my satisfaction. The trees delivered were excellent choices -- all tall, nicely shaped, and healthy. While the outside temperature soared to 103 degrees the workmen worked hard while joking with each other through the huge job at hand and soaring hot temperature.
On day #3 the planting and clean-up was completed and the workmen did a few extras which I appreciated. I am especially grateful for the new and upgraded irrigation Robert Props personally did for me. All the work done by Props Tree and Landscape, Inc. met my high expectations and I certainly would hire them again. I now look with pleasure at my cleaned-up backyard and my 8 beautiful new trees.

After visiting and viewing the work I wanted done, Robert Props sent me an itemized proposal through email. It was great to have everything detailed in such a professional and businesslike manner.
The work was performed in a satisfactory manner by his staff. He did the work himself that required use of insecticides.
All the pruning debris was cleaned up and removed from my property.

While Props himself does the estimate, his 2-man crew carries out the work. When I expressed I was unhappy with the pruning on the plum cherry, both with the crew after they finished and via email with Props,he did not make it right. When he gave me the quote, we agreed branches should be pruned back from mingling with neighbor's walnut, and I requested a more severe pruning over neighbor's fence, but this was not done. For the price of the service, I did not get what I thought I would.

He was excellent. He didn't over trim the trees; he shaped them up nicely and he did a great job. He is top notch. He is reliable and he gave a written estimate. Everything was very good. The quality was excellent and the price was competitive.

He is a Board Certified Arborist. He does a good job, and he cleans up very, very well. He is very knowledgeable, and a pleasant person. I think his prices are a little too high, but I don't shop around. Sometimes I complain that it's too expensive, and he does extra little things for me. It's important to have a person that's easy to work with. Not many people know how to trim Japanese Maples well. Usually, I am the one that has to tell them how to do it. He's pretty good.

They were very good at communicating and they cleaned up very well afterwards. They cut up any of the limbs that were large enough for firewood and stacked it very neatly.
