The tree service was the best service since I moved into my home in 1978. Work was on time, very well done, and very good clean up.

Horrible. Ted, the arborist, provided an quote which I accepted. It was for a LIGHT TRIM and remove a limb. Crew arrived but Ted was not there to review the contract. English appeared to be a scond language for the crew which was a problem when had to tell them what Ted had on the contract. Crew had a different idea on the work and agressively went at the tree. called Bailey imediatley. Ted showed up and stated he leaves it to the crew to determine what to cut and how much. So why did I need an arborist? I didn't. They blew any followup work from me. This coming spring I have about $5,000 of work on 3 liquid ambers. Also, they left the removed lib to be picked up the following week.

This is an update to the review I posted for this company on 2/5/20: I received a call that evening after I had posted the review. They arranged to come out the next day and finish the job. They offered me compensation for the damage to our plants. I appreciate the effort they made to make this right. Hopefully, they will consider these reviews and try to make the necessary improvements so costumers do not have the same experience I had.

The crew was professional, hard working and friendly. Arrived slightly later than scheduled but put in a full day's work. They had me review and okay all work when they were finished.

Had some trouble coordinating a visit for an estimate, but once that was over, the price was right and they fit us in quick. 1 oak removal and trimming on 2 others. Our project was time sensitive as the dead tree was dropping branches all around my shed. The crew did more than I expected and I am very happy with the end result. It's hard to find contractors who do what they say, let alone go beyond expectations. All of this was done with nobody home and a check left for them for when they were done. They could have cut corners, but they didn't! My trees look great and I would definitely recommend them and will use them again when the time comes.

The person who came to give us an estimate gave us a fair price however told us that they wouldn't be able to remove the stump without damaging the fence. We explained the fence will be getting replaced in the near future to which he responded that when that time came to call them and they will come back out to finish the job. When we called to schedule this, it took 3 weeks to get an answer back from the company. When someone finally called us back, they told us that they would charge us $100-150. This is not what was discussed initially and the tone of the person calling us was rather abrupt and off put that we insisted it was. He stated it "wasn't in our contract", when both my husband and I know that it was agreed they would come back out to finish the job. The tree work that was actually completed was fine by the team that came out that first day, (trimming and tree removal(not stump) and the price was reasonable. But the customer service is awful. I cannot recommend them based on their inability to uphold an agreement and response time to get back to us on it.

Took 2 days - came in afternoon and completed next day. Efficient with their tools. Missed cleaning up some of the smaller limbs and tree debris. Overall, fair price for a good job.

We had a very large tree in our yard that we wanted cut down. We solicited several bids that went from the $2500 range all the way to $8000. We selected Bailey because of their good reviews and their price. When we scheduled the time, I felt for sure that this project was going to take a long time, as this was scheduled for early March and we had heavy rains. I received a call that their crew would be out the next day. I checked the weather and it was supposed to rain heavily the next day. Sure enough, they showed up, in the rain, and started working on the tree. It took them two days, in the rain, to cut down our large tree. They came back on the third day to take away some large trunk wood that we couldn't use. Their cleanup was exceptional. After the third day, you would not have known by the look of our front yard that such a huge project took place. I'd definitely recommend Bailey tree company to anyone looking for someone to do large tree work.

I picked Bailey Tree Company because of all the good reviews they got on Yelp. I am happy with the work they did at my home but I am not happy with the mess they left behind. First, they did not show up the day they said they would. When I called them a half hour past my given time window to see where they were, they said they could not make it and would be out early the next day. I had canceled appointments to be home, so I was annoyed. I did ask for a discount being I had wasted a day waiting for them. All they took off was $25. The next day, however, they showed up on time and did a great job cutting down the 3 trees I had them do. However, the contract I signed said they would “remove” the trees. They did not at the time. They put the smaller branches through a wood chipper, but stacked the bigger logs on the curb in the street in front of my home and wrapped them in caution tape. They also put a sign there advertising their company. They never came back to haul away the wood. Instead, while I was at work, some random old guy in a white pickup parked in front of my house. He got out, looked at the sign Bailey left in my yard and got on his cell phone (I have a security camera out front, so I saw it happen). He then proceeded to chop up some of the logs and put them in his truck. He left the remaining ones scattered in the street. Before he left, he walked up to my front door while I wasn’t home and left a note on my door that read, “Will be back to clean up. Called Bailey, said OK to take.” I don’t feel that “removal” of the trees means that some random passerby does it for you and leaves a mess for the homeowner. It means you REMOVE it in one of your trucks! The same man with the truck then came by at 6 AM today, revving up his chainsaw again and making tons of noise, and took the remaining logs. I paid nearly $1000 for their service, and I have been left with a huge mess of sawdust in the street out in front of my home from the random guy who ended up taking the wood. It’s unprofessional and disappointing of Bailey to conduct business this way. If you do hire them, make absolutely certain they fulfill the contract you’re paying for, because it seems like they are not shy of shortcuts. For the work they did, I would give them a better rating, but for the missed appointment and more importantly the failure to fulfill their part of the contract and properly haul away the wood, they only deserve a D rating. They also didn’t mention the Angie’s List coupon, which means I overpaid by almost $96.

The 2 pines trees that they had to cut down were directly beside my Koi Pond. I bought some tarps which they used to cover the pond and they had to practically cut these 2 pine trees branch by branch so as not to have any large pieces fall into my pond. They did an excellent job and cleaned up everything afterward. I was very satisfied with their work!

Bailey Tree co did an excellent job. From start to finish, the crew was great; on time, worked hard with some difficult, large Oaks close to our house, and did a great cleanup. Very good customer service. Highly recommended.

They did it in 3 stages - cut down the trees, haul away the wood that couldn't go in the chipper, and grind the stumps. For each phase they came when they said they would, did exactly what they said they would do, and ground the stumps down a foot below the surface. They were also the lowest bid of 3 we got. I would definitely use them again.

No one claims this property and we pay to have the trees cut. The responsiveness was good. They showed up and were professional.
