If you want the work done correctly and you want to pay fair pricing, call them. The previous company I used were not honest and sold me fixes I did not need and did not repair the things that needed to be repaired. "Darrow and his team did an excellent job! During a 100+ degree heat wave, our 2nd floor A/C failed. My prior A/C man had recently retired and I was scrambling.... reviewed Angie's List and made several calls. In several cases, I found myself as caller #10 in the queue. As a businessman I'm used to moving slowly, assessing, considering alternatives, etc. On this occasion there was no time, had to go with my gut. Mirsky Heat & Air really came through. They spent several hours (6-9pm) testing different options but ultimately found the compressor required replacement. They were able to return a day later and install the replacement. "Joe was punctual, polite, and very helpful. He took a little while to diagnose the problem with the heating unit, but once he figured it out he had the part ready and the installation underway (he first told us what the part would cost and asked permission to go ahead with the repair- which I appreciated). He tested the unit when he was done to make sure it was the right fix, which it was. Then we asked if he could also look at the air conditioning unit while he was here, since it stopped working at the end of last summer. He took some more time to fix that one, which was even harder to diagnose. But, he kept testing until he found the problem, and in the end we had 2 operable units that will save us from another service call in the busy summer season. It was worth the money.

"The dealer wanted $950. Precision did it for $600, as quoted using original mfg. parts. Owner asked what else was wrong with the car and I told him that Toyota wanted to clean the injectors....well the owner here said that cleaning injectors was the biggest scam in the auto industry and went on for five minutes as to why.   When I picked it up, he said my steering was making a small knock and that was the rack and pinion and I could wait until it got worse before having it repaired.  This is a small shop but has integrity.... a rare commodity."
