"Bay Valley called me shortly after I submitted a request. Joel, the estimator, was very knowledgeable, showing me how the house is built via the garage, noting that insulation did not need to be placed above the windows because the wood support beam filled the area (which another contractor seemed not to know), and mentioning how they would patch the vapor barrier (whereas another contractor said they couldn't repair). The price was very reasonable and he also mentioned ways that I could save money. The installers were very professional and the cleanup was fantastic. Because the house is vacant, I had them blow insulation from the inside and the house hasn't been so clean in a long time. "The Good:
Pretty good experience all around.  The crew was a bit late, but they did call well in advance and let me know.    No problems there.
The 2 man crew was polite and did clean up the job site when they were done.  The insulation was installed properly for the most part. (see below)
The Bad:
My only real complaint was that they buried 4 attic vents in the insulation. I  was able to easily remove the pieces that were blocking the vents. I didn't specially say to NOT block the vents, but I would assume an insulation company would know to not do this.  Easy fix, so I'm not too upset about it.
Overall:
Very good price, availability was quick, and the installers were easy to work with and didn't leave a mess.
I would definitely use them again, but would suggest if you do, to make sure you mark and/or double check your attic vents before they leave.  My room didn't have drywall put in yet, so this was easy for me to fix.  Alternatively, install the vent protector metal or plastic "ducts" first.
