"Sunrun installed a bad roof on my house. After many months of emails and phone calls, they never sent out a repair man. Finally, under duress, I signed a form from Sunrun to use my own contractor. I signed under duress because they said they couldn't get a repair man and that this was the only way I could get my roof repaired, and there were driving rains. I told I didn't want to be personally responsible, and that's only thing I asked. But after the contractor fixed the leaks, there was more hidden damage that emerged and more leaks. They told me they won't fix the roof. The bad roof they installed was so bad that one company wanted to charge me $23,000 to fix it. He said the roof was so bad that really it should be replaced. And boy, when he looked at it, he sneered in disgust. Why did they not simply repair the roof after the first phone call. Eventually, they sent me an email with lies, such as "since the roof no longer has a running leak, Sunrun is not responsible for a repair." A blatant lie. I assumed this was an underhanded tactic written by a lawyer to fool the court in the event of a lawsuit. I thought Sunrun was a legitimate company. Even the Sunrun claims manager apologized to me for my treatment, and she said the higher ups were orchestrating everything. She seemed to be trapped in an immoral circumstance because the bosses simply wanted to get out of paying for that roof at all costs. Even from the beginning, they continually tried to get me to "work " with their contractor. They said they couldn't find the contractor and only that particular contractor could fix the roof. Why were they telling me all this. I told Sunrun, that I purchased the roof from them and to leave me out of such conversations. I truly feel this matter is about greed and avoiding the cost of their damage. They have a lot excuses, but I felt from the beginning, everything was a dodge or a put off. It's been two years and my roof still leaks. This is so cruel. I'm a senior citizen. The stress has been affecting my health and making me I'll."

"BPG Inspections Failed to Honor Their Guarantee or Take Accountability Summary: In my experience, BPG Inspections failed to uphold their guarantee, and I encountered poor follow-up and vague, shifting justifications for denying my claim. Details: I hired BPG Inspections in Pensacola, FL, to inspect a home I purchased in April. The inspection occurred in March, and I moved in during May. Within a few days of moving in – well within the 90-day warranty period – I discovered two issues that the inspection report had explicitly marked as functional: 1. The garbage disposal unit did not work (it made a soft noise but did not function). 2. The HVAC system failed to deliver air to the kitchen and adjacent bedroom, though the inspection report had indicated the air handling was operational and in good condition. I promptly emailed BPG about these problems, and while the inspector initially responded, I was then passed to their claims department. After repeated follow-ups, I finally received a call on June 23rd – nearly a month after reporting the issue – only to be told that neither issue was covered under their warranty. I raised the following concerns: 1. For the HVAC, the inspector had confirmed it was functional in an email, contradicting the claims department's later justification that it could not be tested. "Absolutely atrocious experience with this company. Had issues with our fridge/freezer, so they sent a repairman. We had to defrost the entire unit for 36 hours, so lost all of our groceries. (Loss of groceries are not covered - it's in the fine print.) Fine - we'll get the fridge fixed, right? WRONG. Within a month, the same issue occurred. Sent another repairman from a different company. Had to defrost and lost everything AGAIN. Third time with the SAME issue in the past six months and they want to send ANOTHER repairman from a different company who, wait - you guessed it - needs us to defrost the entire unit AGAIN. With the cost of the plan ($655), each $90 service fee, and loss of groceries, we could've bought a brand new and BETTER fridge. Note: our fridge is still not working properly and we are out nearly $1,000 in Fidelity fees alone. Add in another ~$600 in loss of groceries, and we are nearing $2,000. Fidelity are crooks - plain and simple. They outsource their call center to countries where we can't understand the operators, and when you finally do get a manager on the line, they are extremely rude. We are 100% not renewing our contract with Fidelity. We may have to consider small claims court as well."
