The consultant showed up 1 hour late of scheduled time. After I refused to work with them, I have been harassed by phone calls several times a week for the past few months. They change numbers so there is no way to block them. I have been telling them every single time removing me from the call list but it has not been working.

Tar paper, shingles, and nails were flung all over our driveway and our neighbors' yards. The satellite dish was left hanging from one cord off the roof into our neighbors yard. It was difficult to contact them because they have numerous departments and kept transferring us. In addition, we had to schedule the city inspectors to evaluate the project ourselves... no help from the company.

Provider was able to get the permitting done in time for the job to qualify for taxes in 2014, and did the installation quickly and efficiently.
They've been responsive to questions and requests.
I would certainly use them again, and my experience was great.

This company has to be the worst company ever.  They still harass me with phone calls and "door to door" sales people.  They only started to slow their sales calls once I told their "door to door" sales people off for harassing me.
Their representative spent hours hard selling me on their service, even though I told him I needed to get to dinner with my family.  The guy wouldn't leave until I became really blunt with him.  He talked himself out of doing the work on my roof.
I would never have anything to do with this company.

I attended a high pressure sales presentation at my son's house.  The company was asked to simply update a previous quote for a roofing job.  Instead, a sales person showed up just before dinner and had to be asked to leave twice after launching into a long-winded spiel about the quality of the company and its products.  The spiel was after a re-measuring of the roof.  The presentation included  the sales tactic of "if you sign now, you get this special reduced price!"  Even that price was over the top.
As a retired construction professional myself, I got the distinct impression that this guy did not know what he was talking about and was just looking for a fat commission.
Bottom line: this company apparently tries to be an all-around remodeling company.  Basically hiring subs to do the work while they collect money as the middle men.  Especially in this situation, it would be better to deal with recommended roofers.  I would not use this company for anything!

Robert, the co-owner of the companies newest branch came and gave the estimate, explained things well, and was quite charming and personable.  I had said several times that since I was the one newly responsible for repairs and home maintanence and I was nervous about it, that I needed a lot of time for decisions, was going to get several other estimates, and did not want to sign anything.  The proposed cost of the job seemed really hign to me; I think because they use "superior" components, "Deckarol"? instead of that  black paper between the plywood and shingles, as the product they use 'breathes' and doesn't allow for condensation between the layers, and all the materials they use are from that company which comes and approves of the job they've done before completion.
Despite my plans to not sign anything, he used a sweetheart loan deal that he would see if I was eligible for as partial excuse to get me to sign a contract that supposedly " didn't mean anything". (in that I could canel it within 2 bussiness days) Duh--I think that means it did mean something.  Amyway. because I would be unable to get other estimates within those 3 days, because I felt way too rushed, and felt velvet handcuffed into signing when I didn't want to;----I emailed my intention to cancel, wrote "cancel" across the contract and mailed it to him.  Oh- another BIG reason- although this new branch had 2 good reviews on Yelp, there were 21 one star reviews for the company!

A few months back we got in touch with Quality First. We made an appointment for them to come over to have a discussion about our kitchen remodel. Nobody showed up.
Then they called us and made another appointment. We had a preliminary discussion about what we wanted done.
Last Friday they called again to make an appointment on Sunday afternoon 4:00pm. My husband said a guy showed up at 4:40pm. The poor guy drove from far away, he was stuck in traffic but he didn't have our number to let us know what was happening. Of course I was far away from the house at the moment because with the previous experience of no show, I had no idea if they would show up.
We are not sure how reliable they are based on these. So probably won't work with them on our home projects.

They installed nine windows. They came out and installed the things on a Saturday. The service was excellent. The guy was named Steve and I don't remember his co-worker. The windows look great! Most importantly, it has cut my electric bill in more than half. I wish I had done this years ago. It should pay for itself in less than five years. This is far more than anyone expected. They were very responsive.

sales portion was just OK. Negotiated a bit. Crew came out more or less on time. Actual work performed was satisfactory. Our big complaint was they never came back to seal the concrete.
of course, we got one call per month asking about more work. Every time, we would tell the sales guy hey, you aren't even done with the job yet! If you get someone to call me back about finishing, we might consider more work. no call.
I ended up sealing the concrete myself. Seemed easier than getting them to come out.
This is a job-shoppy place, sure they do a lot of stuff, but I got the feeling they were just farming out the work to whoever.
Sales is super pesky...the phone calls never ceased, even when we said look, stop calling us, we aren't doing more work with you b/c of the lack of finishing the prev. job.
So in summary....concrete work was satisfactory, work crew OK. Sales super smarmy. So not an awful experience, but also we probably wouldn't have them perform additional work since there's bound to be some other firm out there that will do the same work for same $ without hounding us for months and months about more work.

The installers were great. They were professional. They did their job and they did it great. I had told over the phone what I wanted to discuss. When the salesman got here, he was trying to sell me the kitchen and bathroom when I didn't want to do the kitchen and the bathroom. He seemed a little miffed that he had to sell the front door. It was more like a test and I wanted to just see before I spend a lot of money what this company was like. That is why I even told them that I am looking at the front door. When he showed up he was more of a kitchen and bath salesman. He felt like it was almost beneath him to sell but he did. After that everything went fine and the door was great. I had a warranty issue with the door. They had to get the parts from back and I had to wait a while. I understood that. When the installer came to repair it, he basically blamed me and told me to be more careful. All I did was walk across the threshold and the threshold broke. I got blamed and I felt like I was being accused for breaking it on purpose. The door looks great and they put it in great.

They were total professionals. All work and cleanup were handled with no problems. They even dug down 4 inches into dirt to make sure that was painted also. The tex-coating covered all the old cracks and repairs. I used an ivory color for main parts and a light brown for trim. They painted some trim that wasn't originally painted. The claim of extra insulation value was right on.

They did a good job and they did everything on time. They had the wrong information when they got there. It was an internal problem because the salesman didn't get the information to them. Luckily I made the salesman write down everything I wanted on the contract so I had it in writing. They did exactly what I paid them to do; no more, no less. The price was right; it was fair. The salesman said he was going to come by and he never did. I would use them again but I would make sure everything was in writing.

Instead of providing a formal quote, the salesperson filled out a contract and pushed us very hard to sign on the spot, using statements like "I can't give you this price tomorrow." And the price was a full 2x higher than competitors.

Old roof was removed in one day...I came home expecting a mess and found my yard spotless!
My new roof was completed the following day, the crew were very professional and courteous. I had the boss's number and was able to call him with any questions that I had. Overall this was a very positive experience. So much so that I've already scheduled the same company to install a new patio cover.

We called them for having the house painted, and they were interested in selling a surface which didn't require painting. The price was 3 times the cost of painting, but was supposed to last 4- 5 times as long. We elected to go with painting.

They were responsive but not pushy on the sales side. They coordinated every aspect of the job from permit to final inspections. Everything was done on time and as promised. Clean up was great too.

Being a first time homeowner, needing to get a new roof was a daunting task. You hear horror stories. After checking with several roofers I selected Quality First because of the services they offered at a price I thought was fair, put in writing. They were professional in giving the estimate for the job. They had a great credit rating, answered all my questions fully. Because this was an old house, there could have been lot of unseen problems that they had anticipated, and one that was unseen until the entire roof had been removed. When it was found, it was a structual problem, and they fixed it without adding any cost to the estimate. They were great with the clean-up every day, they were on time, in fact they completed early a couple days. The only small hold up was the materials didn't arrive exactly when they expected, but that did not delay the completion date they quoted. It was done in 3 days as promised. They were very available, and checked with me to see how it was going. When the County Building inspector did his thing, he said that they had done a great job, that they always did a good job. I would use them again and will recommend them whole heartly.y after the roof was complete.

This was a terrific experience from start to finish. The sales rep was personable and professional, happily answering a slew of questions that I as an engineer posed him about the solar portion of the project. Major kudos for their ability to navigate the complex bureaucratic web of incentives related to solar. They even helped me find FREE financing for the project since it had a solar component to it.

The roofing crew was fast and efficient - 3 days start to finish. They did a terrific job and the roof looks great! There was one small accident which caused some damage to my ceiling but they immediately took responsiblity and got it fixed.

The solar crew also did a great job - very quick and efficient. There was one error made in the design, regarding the placement of the panels. Once again, Quality First did not balk at taking responsiblity and promptly got the problem fixed.

All in all, this is definitely one of the most professional, 'together' contractors I've ever worked with, anywhere in the US.

My experience seems similar to other reviewers here. I booked an appointment and no one showed. I suspect it was because I told them that my wife did not need to be at our first meeting. Then for weeks following I would be called repeatedly to try and book another appointment. I asked 5 times to be taken off the list. The calls finally stopped when I told them that the next time they called I would book an appointment and make it a waste of time for the salesperson. At the Alameda Home and Garden show today, I was appauld to find that they were "Diamond Certified". So much for "Diamond Certified"!
