They've been responsive to questions and requests.
I would certainly use them again, and my experience was great.
Their representative spent hours hard selling me on their service, even though I told him I needed to get to dinner with my family. The guy wouldn't leave until I became really blunt with him. He talked himself out of doing the work on my roof.
I would never have anything to do with this company.
As a retired construction professional myself, I got the distinct impression that this guy did not know what he was talking about and was just looking for a fat commission.
Bottom line: this company apparently tries to be an all-around remodeling company. Basically hiring subs to do the work while they collect money as the middle men. Especially in this situation, it would be better to deal with recommended roofers. I would not use this company for anything!
Despite my plans to not sign anything, he used a sweetheart loan deal that he would see if I was eligible for as partial excuse to get me to sign a contract that supposedly " didn't mean anything". (in that I could canel it within 2 bussiness days) Duh--I think that means it did mean something. Amyway. because I would be unable to get other estimates within those 3 days, because I felt way too rushed, and felt velvet handcuffed into signing when I didn't want to;----I emailed my intention to cancel, wrote "cancel" across the contract and mailed it to him. Oh- another BIG reason- although this new branch had 2 good reviews on Yelp, there were 21 one star reviews for the company!
Then they called us and made another appointment. We had a preliminary discussion about what we wanted done.
Last Friday they called again to make an appointment on Sunday afternoon 4:00pm. My husband said a guy showed up at 4:40pm. The poor guy drove from far away, he was stuck in traffic but he didn't have our number to let us know what was happening. Of course I was far away from the house at the moment because with the previous experience of no show, I had no idea if they would show up.
We are not sure how reliable they are based on these. So probably won't work with them on our home projects.
of course, we got one call per month asking about more work. Every time, we would tell the sales guy hey, you aren't even done with the job yet! If you get someone to call me back about finishing, we might consider more work. no call.
I ended up sealing the concrete myself. Seemed easier than getting them to come out.
This is a job-shoppy place, sure they do a lot of stuff, but I got the feeling they were just farming out the work to whoever.
Sales is super pesky...the phone calls never ceased, even when we said look, stop calling us, we aren't doing more work with you b/c of the lack of finishing the prev. job.
So in summary....concrete work was satisfactory, work crew OK. Sales super smarmy. So not an awful experience, but also we probably wouldn't have them perform additional work since there's bound to be some other firm out there that will do the same work for same $ without hounding us for months and months about more work.
My new roof was completed the following day, the crew were very professional and courteous. I had the boss's number and was able to call him with any questions that I had. Overall this was a very positive experience. So much so that I've already scheduled the same company to install a new patio cover.
The roofing crew was fast and efficient - 3 days start to finish. They did a terrific job and the roof looks great! There was one small accident which caused some damage to my ceiling but they immediately took responsiblity and got it fixed.
The solar crew also did a great job - very quick and efficient. There was one error made in the design, regarding the placement of the panels. Once again, Quality First did not balk at taking responsiblity and promptly got the problem fixed.
All in all, this is definitely one of the most professional, 'together' contractors I've ever worked with, anywhere in the US.
