"First of all, they are very expensive. I needed two sections of drywall repaired that were a maximums of 6 inches by 6 inches. The estimate was $789.00. At first I laughed this off as a contractor who had more work then he could handle at the time, and so created an absurd invoice. Unfortunately, the work was being done is in a rental house that I own and the tenants are inconvenienced every time that I have a contractor creating an estimate. I decided against my better judgement to go with someone who is ridiculously priced but had good reviews. Bad idea. After they completed the work they added another $110.76 for a "materials" fee, which was not added to the previous invoice. $798.00 is absurd for 3 hours of work and $20 in materials. (I know this because I have do this myself.) $890.76 is criminal."

"This provider is unusual in that he really knows what he is doing with drywall. He is amazingly competent; really set a new standard in my mind for drywall work.
I'll try to be more specific?  He is very knowledgeable and quick to evaluate what is required. Then, he is fast and effective at completing the work.

Because it was a cathedral ceiling, I had special requirements for insulation and moisture control. Leo understood all my requirements and gave a really reasonable quote. During the project, at every major step, he either showed me in person or via pictures what they were doing so that I could verify no corner was cut. When I had questions or concerns, Leo answered and addressed them all. The project was done to my satisfaction. Just as important as the work quality, Leo was very responsive and punctual. He always responded when I called or texted him. The project was done in three separate days (because they needed to wait for mud or paint to dry). Leo always let me know when I could expect them. He and his crew showed up on time. Sometimes when there was delay due to traffic or other reasons, Leo would always let me know ahead of time how much the delay would be."

He was referred to me by another contractor and we were happy with the results. He always came out when he said he would and he finished the job on time so i could get my next tenant in the home. "Michael Wilke understood how I wanted the finished bathroom to look. I have a mid-century house and wanted to redo this bathroom in authentic tile and in the same style. I ordered the wall tile from B&W in the exact colors that I wanted, and Michael provided a white floor tile to complement what I picked for the vanity top and shower. Michael and his assistant always showed up on time and were meticulous about using drop cloths and cleaning up at the end of the work day. Michael does a very professional job and it is clear that he knows his trade and has had years of training and practice. The finished bathroom is better than I had imagined and just beautiful. Michael and his assistant also installed drywall in various areas in my house where it had been removed to take out the old pipes. They did a great job with this as well and Michael put a lot of effort into getting the texture just right on the new drywall so that it would match the existing drywall. Michael is all that you would want in a contractor - his prices are fair and reasonable, he shows up when expected and works hard while on the job, and he cleans up after he is done. As an added bonus, Michael gave me produce from his garden! He's a nice man, honest and hard-working. I will always call him first for home repairs."
