Unprofessional, Dishonest, and Unfinished Work - Stay Away! If I could give zero stars, I would. I hired Leo and his brothers in April to complete a home renovation project. It's now the end of July, and the work is nowhere near finished. From the start, he asked for a significant amount of money upfront, which I unfortunately paid in good faith. Since then, it's been a nightmare. He shows up inconsistently--if at all--and every time I ask when the job will be completed, I get nothing but excuses and flat-out lies. Promises to return "next week" or "after the weekend" have been made repeatedly and broken just as often. Four months have passed, and I'm left with an unfinished mess. Communication is poor, deadlines are ignored, and at this point, I feel like I've been scammed. Do yourself a favor: avoid this contractor at all costs. There are plenty of honest, reliable professionals out there--this is not one of them.

Leo ghosted us and did not complete the job. It is now going to cost us double to fix shoddy work and details left undone. To add insult, he left uncapped live wires on the electrical that he started to do. LIVE WIRES. To emphasize, Leo stopped showing up even though he would promise to come on certain days, calls were never returned and we would pay him for most of the work.

Leo was always available for my questions via phone or in person. He was professional and finished my project on time. He remodeled the interior of our garage and made it into an office space and garage space. It came out beautiful and actually stays cooler than our home. The materials he used really made a difference in how the space feels. We were really happy. We went on vacation and came back and it was 99% complete!

JL drywall installed a ceiling with insulation in my master bedroom. It was a good experience working with Leo and his crew from the beginning to the end. Because it was a cathedral ceiling, I had special requirements for insulation and moisture control. Leo understood all my requirements and gave a really reasonable quote. During the project, at every major step, he either showed me in person or via pictures what they were doing so that I could verify no corner was cut. When I had questions or concerns, Leo answered and addressed them all. The project was done to my satisfaction. Just as important as the work quality, Leo was very responsive and punctual. He always responded when I called or texted him. The project was done in three separate days (because they needed to wait for mud or paint to dry). Leo always let me know when I could expect them. He and his crew showed up on time. Sometimes when there was delay due to traffic or other reasons, Leo would always let me know ahead of time how much the delay would be.
