"They did a great job figuring out how to install the pot rack securely into my ceiling. There were some obstacles to getting it installed but the crew was able to problem solve the issue and get it installed. Highly recommend!"

"Initially it did not go too well. I called him up and he said he did not do drywall. Then he said I should send him an email list of what I wanted done. So I sent him the list in great detail and he said ok. He showed up and I bought the paint but he did not have any supplies to do the painting. So I had to go to the store to pick up supplies. When I came home he said it will take him longer than 4 hours. I asked him how long it will take him and he said he did not know. Then I asked him why he did not tell me that when I sent him the list. I did get him to do some jobs that I needed to be done. He did came out to do some electrical and he is ok on that and on plumbing. He said he did everything."

"Strongbuilt plumbing is the best! Their office staff was professional and friendly. Sent photos of the plumbers assigned to the job and estimated time of arrival. The work was performed accurately and in the most workman like manner. Billing was handled on a computer tablet at the conclusion of the work. I am so pleased with both Anthony Garcia and Bobby Shawgo, I plan on using them again whenever I have a plumbing problem. Anthony and Bobby were very polite, courteous and professional. I plan on telling all my friends who need plumbing services to contact Strongbuilt and ask for both Anthony and Bobby. Thank you both Bobby and Antony for the great job!"

Basement Waterproofing questions, answered by experts

A crawl space is an area under the house that provides access to plumbing, electrical, heating ducts, and other HVAC units. Its purpose is to create a buffer between the ground and the living area, helping with ventilation, moisture control, and access for maintenance or repairs. Crawl spaces are most often seen in houses in North America which are built on concrete foundations versus other parts of the world where buildings are constructed differently.

Yes, slab leaks are fairly common, especially in older homes and places that are prone to earthquakes which can move home foundations.

Yes, engineers assess soil load-bearing capacity and provide construction guidelines.

In some circumstances, foundation refacing or repair may be a better option for your home than sealing a foundation. It’s always a good idea to take steps to prevent moisture problems in your foundation, but if there are any structural concerns, those will usually need to be fixed first. When dealing with foundation issues, it’s a good idea to get a professional opinion so you can avoid bigger problems down the road.

Yes, basement insulation needs a vapor barrier due to its susceptibility to moisture seeping in from the outside of the house. You should install a moisture barrier before you install insulation or purchase insulation that comes prebuilt with a moisture barrier to avoid water damage in your insulation and costly mold and water remediation expenses.
