Silverado Plumbing is one of the most professional and experienced service related companies I've ever encountered. Long story short: do not hesitate to use them for all your plumbing related needs. I had a drain that started to clog a few weeks ago and got bad enough that water stopped draining altogether. I called out my heating and cooling company who also does plumbing to come out and inspect and snake the drain. Needless to say, that "plumber" simply tried to sell me on a multi-thousand dollar service instead, didn't tighten my sink pipe and left a huge mess and didn't fix the clog. As it's not the first drain I've had clog in my life, I knew that he did not truly try to fix it or use the proper tools and I needed to find somebody who knew what they were doing. I researched online and found that Silverado specialized in drain clogs and pipes and decided to gave them a call. The office manager was super friendly and against all odds was able to get somebody out to me the same day! Their plumber Aaron ended up coming out to my place with a helper within an hour of me calling and immediately got to work with professional grade tools. He tried snaking it on the inside but couldn't get deep enough so went up on the roof without having to ask him and snaked it through the roof. It wasn't easy, but he stayed with it and was able to get the clog out (which turned out to be roots)! He and his helper tested my sink multiple times to ensure there was no more leaks. Before he left, I realized the last "plumber" I hired didn't tighten up my sink correctly and water was leaking into the vanity. Aaron tightened this up for me as well. And best of all? He spent some time cleaning up the dirty water afterwards. Aaron and Silverado Plumbing were nothing but nice, timely and professional. Their prices are fair, they don't try to upsell you on something you don't need and they stick with the job until it's done. That shouldn't be a rarity, but it is in this day and age and Silverado should be commended for it. Don't hesitate to use Silverado Plumbing for all your drain and plumbing needs as I sure will for any other of my needs!

We have an old house with old plumbing. After several tries with other companies, we found Silverado and haven't looked back. Silverado has repiped half our home, replaced our water heater, replaced a sink, and has rootered and videoed our problematic sewer lines. Unlike experiences we had with other companies, their prices and recommendations are sensible and logical, and do not appear to be driven by commission. I *sincerely* hope that their recent ownership change does not mean a change to this practice, because we are so happy to finally have found "our plumber". All of the plumbers who have been to our home have been polite, friendly, and helpful. In particular, we are grateful for the courtesy, problem-solving ability, and diligence of Tim and Jack, who are superb. These individuals take the time to physically show you the problem and explain the options available and ramifications for each. Workmanship is careful and demonstrates thought as to usability, cost, and need. These are professionals.

Went very badly. Came on 8-19-17 to repair leak at piping connection. Charged $100.90; tried several things; added metal band; nothing worked; leak not stopped. I went to Walmart and got silicone tape, wrapped around pipe and stopped leak. What does it say for their competence that a novice like me could stop leak while their plumber cannot. Gave me bid 14221, IFSM W/O 58882 for $1160.95; got the work done by CURTIS PLUMBING for $816.08. SILVERADO is overpriced and incompetent; will not use them again.

My rental house had a leak from the kitchen sink into the basement. I did locate and remove the rusted drain pipe and cut away the wall for better access to the drain. I then called the service since it was a rental and I wanted to get it fixed asap. Tom arrived on time and gave me an estimate of $825, saying he would be there all day the following day. Not that I am a complete novice, but I was thinking that there was much more involved than what I envisioned. He arrived the next day and the drain was already hooked up. I did help putting the vent pipe, going into the attic to guide the pipe into the hole. Since this whole process took no more than two hours with perhaps a generous allowance of $50 for some 2 ½ inch ABS and a drain, this business charges almost $400/ hour. I blame myself for having been so gullible, but I certainly will not call these guys again or recommend them. And this is coming from someone who essentially never writes bad reviews, at least none that I can remember. Additionally, the invoice listed nothing about hours or material costs.

Called Silverado Rooter & Plumbing at 8:00am. and spoke to Angel, who was very professional and polite, explained the problem I was having and she scheduled an appointment for between 10am and 2pm. (I ran emergency service for years and understand how hard it is to give an exact time, so I had no problem with the times.) She said they would call when on their way. I recieved a call from the tech who's name was Matt M. this was at 10:36am and he said he was about 30 minutes away. He got here at the time he said he would. He was very professional, polite and after I showed him the problem, he explained what he was going to do and proceeded to do his job. He was familiar with his equipment and was efficient. It is so refreshing to deal with a company that from first contact made me feel that I had a company who really understood customer service and plumbing! This is an old house 60's and does not have a "clean out" so Matt explained what he was going to do, so I understood what was going on. He "snaked 130 ft" and found the problem to be roots. He cleaned out the roots and explained what may happen in the future and what our options may be at that time, If we do have a problem in the future. The total cost was 140.00, I am very impressed and will use this company and will be comfortable recommending them to any one who needs a qualified plumber. I can hardly wait for any of my friends to have a plumbing problem so I can recommend this company. Thanks Silverado for a job well done!

On a Sunday afternoon, Tom S. responded to my call regarding a blocked sewer line, showing up right when he said he would.  He warned me in advance there was an extra $25/hr weekend rate (about $100 for the first hour, normally) and a nominal mileage fee, which was peanuts compared to what some of these other gougers charge (Cummings plumbing wanted $346 for the first hour!).  Within 1/2 hour, Tom had the line cleared, then snaked it again for good measure with the 150' snake he brought.  The difference between this honest, quick resolution of a common problem contrasts with the responses of Spartan plumbing, which I had the misfortune of call first.
Now, compare this to my experience the day before with Spartan Plumbing.  I called at 3:00 p.m. Saturday and was told someone would be at the house between 4:00 and 6:30 p.m.  7:00 p.m. rolls around and nobody is there and nobody has called me.  I call back to get the answering service, who contacts the guy who was supposed to handle the call.  1/2 hour goes by and I get a call from some guy who is equivocating about when he will be able to make it out ("should be by 8:30" blah, blah, blah).  I start calling other plumbers, but of course it is now Saturday night and I am being told by Roto Rooter a service guy can get to me in an 1 to 2 hours.  I ask what the charges are and am told I will have to wait to talk to the service guy for that information.  Sure, I'll wait another couple of hours to be given some ridiculous charge.  Cummings Plumbing's answering service said $99 for the first hour.  The plumber who called me said no, it is $346 for the first hour.  I told him to forget it.  While I am calling a guy from Spartan says they are ready to come by if I still want.  Ok, I say, come by.  They try to snake out the line and say the snake can't reach the blockage and all they have is a 90' snake, so my what I need to do is have a second cleanout installed closer to the street.  This is a rental I own and is occupied, as the plumber knows, so he knows I have to fix the problem.  When could it be done?, I ask.  "I can get a crew out here tomorrow," he says.  How much will it cost? I ask.  "About $2,200," he says.  I tell him no, thanks, and pay him $152 for not fixing the problem.  The next day, Tom from Silverado comes out and clears the blockage for $130.
I subsequently call the Spartan guy and ask why he didn't pull the toilet close to the sewer line and snake the line out.  He tells me he used to do that, but because of possible problems with the toilet flange blah, blah, blah, he doesn't do that any more.  Really?  Digging up and adding a cleanout to an 80 year old sewer line for $2,200 is the way to go, huh?  Something tells me that after they started work, I'd be hearing that the sewer line is old and cracked and I needed to replace it for, say, $8,000.  Regardless, the guy brings a puny snake that isn't up to the job, charges me $152 to not fix the problem, and recommends an expensive solution that is ripe for trouble rather than pulling a toilet because of some speculative concern that the toilet flange could be a problem.
So, I speak with Jeb, the Spartan service manager, because I find it hard to believe in the big truck the plumber came in there was not a longer snake.  Jeb confirms that all they have are 90' snakes with a 10' extension because the code requires a cleanout every 100'.  He then acknowledges that there are a lot of houses in Tucson that were built before this code was in place.  He confirms that they used to pull toilets and run snakes, but blah, blah, blah.  He offered to refund $50.  I told him to keep it, that and I would use every review site I could to relay my experience.
If you want a company that has inadequate equipment, then tries to tell you you will have to spend thousands of dollars do something that is liable to create even more problems, call Spartan.  Since I dealt with them, I have heard similar stories about how they tried to turn a low-cost job into a job that cost thousands of dollars.
If you want to fix your problem in a reasonable manner, call Silverado.

Very pleased with good quality work, quality parts, and fair pricing by Silverado Rooter and Sewer.  All employees I interacted with were professional and courteous and obviously enjoy working for their boss, Art Cake, who goes the extra mile for both his customers and employees.  Requested, and received 30 min courtesy call prior to (on-time) arrival.  Will use (and highly recommend) Silverado for all future plumbing/sewer needs.

We live on a flag lot, which means that it is a great distance from our house to the road, where the main sewer line runs.  We have had a great deal of trouble over the years with roots getting into our line and clogging it up.  Kasey & Mat came out and first snaked out the line and then came back and used a camera to view the problem and proceeded to power-flush the line.  They were very prompt and professional.  Considering that there were 2 trips with them spending over 2 hours each time and using expensive equipment I feel that the cost was very reasonable.  On the first trip, where they snaked out the line, they were here for over 2 hours and only charged $200.  On the second trip they not only power-flushed the line, but located and installed an additional clean-out (I think we now have 4).  I would not only use this company again but asked for extra cards to pass out to my friends.

I had a nationally known plumbing service out to repair a leaking toilet and without my asking they examined my outside sewer pipe and told me I had a root in the pipe and they needed to repair and replace the pipe at the cost of $7178.00 and it needed to be done right away. (they did not charge me for this)They  would also throw in a $3500 cleaning out all my inside pipes job.

I decided to get on Angie's list and found Silverado which had wonderful reviews. I called and Carter

said he did not have the means to dig down 12 ft. which is where the other plumber said the problem was. Told Carter the whole story and that I felt uneasy about the whole deal. Carter said he wanted to come out and free of charge he would ck. things out to be sure I wasn't being taken advantage of. He came within a couple of hrs. and indeed I did have a root in the pipe which was only 5 ft. down but all I needed was to have it rotor-rooted and it would take care of the problem for a long time. Carter and Cody were very professional and I told them they are now our plumbers!!! Wish there were more honest repair men like Carter and Cody!!
