We have been absolutely thrilled with all the years of service from this company. I would not recommend another."

"We hired Red Sky to install a new shingle roof on our house. We interviewed a couple of businesses but Red Sky not only gave use a good price, but the owner, John Camp, seemed like a honest guy. On the scheduled start day, the crew showed up on time and promptly started working. The crew worked for two days. The first day they worked 10 hours, the second day they worked 12 hours. They were efficient and knew what they were doing. They had to bring in a large crane to take the swamp cooler off our roof and then place it back. It all went smoothly. Communication with John and his son Colin was excellent. We were kept informed of what was going on and what to expect next. Roofing crews can sometimes be messy, but this crew was pretty tidy. Only little bits of this and that littered the ground but all of it was picked up. They finished the job on time (with an unexpected rain delay) and they charged us what they said they said they would. Excellent work!"

"After a recent storm caused damage to our homes flat roof, we reached out to Southwest Roofing and Design for help. From start to finish they were prompt, professional and incredibly thorough. Their team quickly assessed the storm damage and clearly explained the repair process. They took care of everything, patching up the damaged areas and applying a protective roof coating to help extend the life of the roof and guard against future issues. Thanks to their quality workmanship, our roof is now solid and sealed and we feel fully prepared for the upcoming monsoon season. It's a huge relief knowing our home is protected. If you're dealing with storm damage or just want to get your flat roof ready for harsh weather, I recommend Southwest Roofing and Design. Roofing questions, answered by experts

Heated roofs are a preventative measure and don’t have an outsized effect on your home’s value, so there is no definitive answer to this question. If you diligently monitor your roof in colder months, ensuring there is never snow or ice buildup then no, maybe they aren’t worth it. However, who really watches their roof every day or goes out in freezing weather to rake the roof? For most people worried about roof damage in the winter, heated roofs are a good investment.

The common formula for measuring a roof is length x width equals square footage. Professional roofers measure the length and width of your roof, including dormers, and determine its pitch and rafter sizes. If a roof surface is a triangle, they’ll divide that square footage by two, then add up the square footage of each surface to get the total for the roof.

Yes, hail damage to your roof can definitely cause water leaks in your roof. This is because hailstones can break, chip, crack, or split shingles of all types, exposing underlayment. This underlayment doesn’t offer as much protection against water, so when it becomes compromised, water can penetrate and leak deeper into your home.

In most cases, no, roofers won’t need to come inside. Some reasons roofers may need to come inside are to assess ventilation. inspect roof leaks, or check for any structural concerns.

Roof raking can damage shingles if improperly done. Be sure to use a rake that’s designed specifically for removing snow from a roof, and don’t use excessive pressure. Light, consistent pressure to pull down the bulk of the snow is all that’s needed—if you clear right down to the shingles, you’re probably using too much force and risking roof damage.
