"

This the third home SUNGUARD has painted for me. To start with they were very helpful working through the HOA requirements.

They were very timely and worked with my tenant to do the work at a convenient time. The painting process was very professional and they do the little extras that make the job one of the best values for the money in my opinion.

They power washed the house. sealed the cracks (you cannot tell where they were), Plus the painted under the patio roof and pointed  out that the patio roof needed sealing.  The lines where they changed colors are unbelievable straight .

""I couldn't be happier with the roof replacement these guys provided. My roof was a total disaster, but they came in with a professional game plan and absolutely knocked it out of the park. Their communication was top-notch; they gave quick, clear answers to all my questions and made the whole process stress-free. Despite the massive scope of the project, the roofing crew finished way quicker than I imagined. To top it off, the project manager did a thorough final inspection with me to ensure every detail was perfect. If you need a fast, reliable, and professional roofing contractor, I highly recommend them! "Five Stars"

"Our experience with Fletcher Roofing couldn’t have been better. From the initial estimate to the completed project, Donnie, Charles, and Tim were professional. Donnie’s communication with us throughout the entire project was above and beyond. I would highly recommend them if you need your roof repaired or replaced. Our roof is tiled, and the work they did was excellent. We couldn’t be happier."

"I hired S and H to repair/coat my roof and to coat the wood trim on my home. As far as I know, the roof was done properly, as was most of the wood. However, they did not complete the job on a relatively small portion and also did not remove some excess repair material from a wooden post. It is still there. I called them two weeks ago and again one week ago to finish up. I was told they would take care of it, but they have not. UPDATE: S and H showed up on 6/12/2020 and finished the wooden post by removing the excess material and painting that needed to be finished. However, they did not apply the sealant to the faces of the beams which face the sun. I was told by S and H that they would recoat them (I cannot tell if they were even coated, to begin with) to my satisfaction. The two men who finished the post knew nothing about this and said I would need to contact S and H management (the son of whom told me they would coat them). So, I cannot give this company particularly high marks for customer service since they did not keep their word. I will not know about the quality of the roof until the monsoon season comes. FINAL UPDATE: on 6/18/2020, S and H finished coating the beams and now the job has been completed to my satisfaction."

Roofing questions, answered by experts

No, a chimney crown is not the same as a chimney cap. A chimney crown is a flat cement area on top of a masonry chimney. It starts where the masonry part of the chimney ends at the very top and domes upward toward the flue opening. A chimney cap sits on top of the crown over the flue. It is usually made of metal and allows smoke to escape without letting in rainwater.

The best material to sheath a roof will depend on your budget and if you require the strength of more robust materials. For most homes, the added strength is unnecessary, and oriented strand board, or OSB, makes sense. It’s inexpensive and robust enough for most roof types. Another popular but slightly more expensive option is plywood.

After you've chosen the best roofer for you, schedule an inspection and review the final contract. Your roofing company should be able to provide options for scheduling the work and a potential timeline for obtaining the permits and starting the job. Remember to always request everything in writing before work begins.

Whether you should choose a flat roof or a sloped roof depends on your particular situation. Flat roofs tend to be less expensive to install. However, sloped roofs have longer lifespans and stand up better to heavy snow and other inclement weather.

Keep in mind that even a flat roof needs to have a slight slope, usually around 1/2 inch for every foot. If it is completely flat, water will pool and cause damage, either from weight or leakage or rot.

Maybe you waited a little longer than you should have before dealing with the snow accumulation on your roof, and now you are wondering if there is risk of roof collapse. Here are some signs you should look out for: a sagging roof, cracking and cracking sounds, cracks in walls, and leaks in your attic and ceiling.

If you suspect potential roof collapse, do not delay. Take immediate action. Call a professional roofing company and get an inspection. You may want to move your belongings to a safe place and relocate your family until everything has been taken care of.
