Planit Dirt Excavation & Concrete, Inc. has been your local family-owned and operated concrete contractor proudly serving Central Arkansas. Bring us your dream or idea, and we'll work from the ground up to put a plan into action and give you the patio or pool deck you've always wanted. Call us to make your dream a reality if you are in the market for stamped or decorative concrete, a garage, sidewalk, driveway, foundation, or retaining wall.

"This review is for the concrete driveway project completed eight months ago, and so far, everything looks great. There are no cracks, and they did an excellent job cutting the driveway to prevent future cracking. I highly recommend JR and his team for projects of any size. Their work is efficient, high-quality, and reasonably priced."

Serving homeowners in the Central Arkansas area since 2001. We can handle all of your residential projects from design to completion. Whether it's a simple repair job or a room addition, our goal is to satisfy our customer and produce an end result that both will be proud of.

"Great experience with Lewis & Company Construction! Such a relief to find a company that was fairly priced, timely, honest, and strong communication throughout the job completion. lWhen looking for a contractor you need someone who is going to spend the time to write up a detailed estimate and be knowledgeable about what will be involved in the remodel and/or repair. Go to Lewis & Company who will get the job done the right way, the first time, and in the time promised! To respect the time it takes to provide a proper estimate, Lewis & Company requires a small service charge for a formal estimate. To me, it was well-worth the charge as it showed me they were committed to providing me with an accurate estimate and it gave me an idea of how thorough James and his crew would be in completion of the job. James also did a detailed walk-through of the work I was interested in completing and gave me useful, honest, and practical advice regarding my budget constraints. James and Lewis completed about $15K of home repairs/upgrades in preparation for putting my parent's home on the market. All my interactions with both James and his employees were great and I felt comfortable with them in my home. There was always good communication with me regarding when they would be coming. There was about a 3 week wait for the initial meeting, 1 month for the detailed estimate, and about 2 months for the work to start- but this was told to me upfront (and I was willing to wait for this company) and I was always kept in the loop if there was going to be a delay. Once the job started, it was completed on fast and on schedule. I was super happy with the work they provided and so relieved to have found a company I could trust in home remodels or builds."

"First time I have every reviewed something, aside from the one I just left on their other site. I recently hired them to do a job - keep my dog inside the fence. I was assured that could be done. The dog knocks a board loose that was not well to begin with. I called for a repair, suggested someone knock it back in and put some screws in. I was told this could not be done. In short, they do not stand by their work. 7 thousand dollars later, and I am fixing my fence, cleaning up their mess, by the way, and having to dig around the bottom of the fence so it does not prematurely rot. Apparntly, according to my neighbor, they put the last fence in and it did not last long. So, my suggestion is take your money someplace where it, and the work you aske to be done, is apprishated."

No job to big or small, we do it all, we put as little as 2 up to 10,15 or more people on a job depending of the job necessities or requirements, fast, reliable, warranty, free estimates, duly licensed under the provisions of Act 1208 of 2011

"Very quick response, as they work already working in the neighborhood completely redoing the stucco exterior of another house. They did good work, the price wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for and I think they are one of the few competent stucco professionals in town, so I would definitely use them again."

Concrete Repair questions, answered by experts

Yes. Foundation walls are always load-bearing.

Foundation settling is normal and expected if just a small amount of settlement occurs within a year or so after construction. This usually results in hairline cracks in the foundation, which aren’t typically a problem. If settlement occurs years after construction, unevenly under your home, or results in signs of structural damage, then it could be very serious. Foundation stabilization and drainage system installation to fix unnatural settlement can cost tens of thousands of dollars and compromise the structural integrity of your entire home.

Yes, it is worth repairing concrete cracks. Concrete cracks are normal, and they can be hard to keep from appearing. However, it is worth repairing cracks in concrete for many reasons. For example, it’s possible to repair concrete to the point where the repair is almost invisible. Also, if the crack is left alone, it can become bigger and more expensive to fix over time.

Underpinning is a type of foundation repair in which a repair specialist installs piers under your foundation to provide additional support for the concrete and structure above. Foundation repair is an umbrella term that includes many other repair methods, including foundation crack repair, waterproofing, cosmetic repair, concrete block wall stabilization, and more.

Yes, you can fix a block foundation. It’s important to address the issue immediately and have a foundation repair professional understand the severity of the issue and determine the best course of action. If the wall collapses before the foundation is repaired, then you’ll have to reassess your entire foundation.
