"Called company they showed up at the time they stated they would be here, actually they were early (awesome).  Installed a total of 4 ceiling fans with lights in about 2 hours time.  He was very friendly and answered all questions that I had.  Once installed he made sure everything was working great.  He left his card and said if I had any problems to please call him and he would come and check it out.  He was extremely professional and considerate of our property.

"Well, the first appointment was made for a Friday afternoon and we took off from work to be at the house to wait for them.  By 4pm there was no word so I called only to find they had an emergency and were not coming.  She said she called everyone the night before, but NOT ME.
The woman and I had talked and I was told the charge for going into an attic was an extra $75. I agreed as I had read this in previous reviews also.  IT WAS NOT STATED IN THE AD!!!  The ad said extra charge for materials, ok ,and as I said I agreed to the 75 ON THE PHONE WITH THE WIFE, NOT 125.
They arrived at the house for the second appt and told my husband it was $125 to go in the attic now!?!  What?
Husband called me and I informed the lady that we had discussed this and I was told by her 75 extra, not 125, well long story short...the coupon from Angies List cost $99 for 2 hours of electrical labor. It said materials extra.  We had to write a check for another $150.
I value any working person's time and skills, but I feel like we were "taken". Don't tell me one price then as soon as you arrive increase it. We paid it, the people did quality work,  but I would not do business with them again.

"Russel upgraded our homes electrical panel recently. If I have an electrical problem, Russel is the only person I will reach out to. I have known him about 5 years, he is very professional, and gives you a professional job at a fair price."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

The longevity of electrical work in Clarksville depends on using high-quality, weather-resistant materials, proper moisture barriers, and robust surge protection to handle local storms. Success also relies on accurate wire sizing, strict code compliance, and regular system inspections. Hiring experienced professionals familiar with Clarksville’s climate and rural needs ensures your electrical system remains safe, reliable, and efficient for years to come.

Helpful?

Completing electrical projects in Clarksville provides immediate safety upgrades, improved lighting, and better energy efficiency—especially in older homes. Over time, you’ll benefit from increased property value, fewer electrical issues, and potential insurance advantages. Upgrading your system also prepares your home for future smart devices and offers greater protection against storm-related outages, which are common in the Clarksville area.

Helpful?

For electrical projects in Clarksville, choose copper wiring for durability in humid conditions, and select THWN-2 wire for flexibility in both wet and dry areas. Use weatherproof electrical boxes and covers for outdoor installations, and install GFCI outlets in kitchens, bathrooms, and garages. Adding whole-home surge protection and using outdoor-rated conduit helps safeguard your system from frequent storms and power fluctuations common in Clarksville.

Helpful?

Begin by checking permit requirements with local authorities and assessing your current and future electrical needs. Consult a licensed professional for major upgrades, and coordinate early with your utility provider. Schedule outdoor work during mild weather, and plan ahead for material delivery if you’re outside city limits. Always confirm insurance coverage, ensure code compliance, and keep detailed records for inspections and warranties.

Helpful?

Homeowners in Clarksville often overlook required permits and fail to follow Arkansas electrical codes, risking safety and future resale issues. Skipping GFCI protection in outdoor or damp areas is a frequent error. Many underestimate the need for surge protection and weatherproofing, especially with local storms. Attempting complex wiring without professional help can result in hazards, unreliable power, and costly repairs later on.
