"The work crew arrived on time and set up to begin work in empty unit after I demo'd old windows. They made cut-outs where necessary and installed the new windows, then insulated and caulked and did the trim work inside and out. It took most of the week. My property manager scheduled with the tenants. The tenants all liked the new look and extra light and ventilation! These new windows should improve the insulating factor from the other ones. "Jeff was very thorough and communicated his intentions in a very clear manner. We provided the insulation and drywall. Jeff provided the labor as well as some miscellaneous materials needed such as 2 X 4 s for fastening the drywall in two of the corners of the frame, and trim for the windows. Originally, I had thought I would do this project myself, especially since it was a shed. I'm really glad we opted to have a professional do the work. I couldn't be happier with the results. The walls are painted and require no additional work.
It may also be helpful to know that in bidding the job originally, Jeff was willing to work with us on our finished product. Since we are talking about an outbuilding, if all we wanted was functionality, Jeff indicated he would have been able to reduce the price somewhat by only doing rough work with the taping and mud. He explained if we wanted to go this route, you would be able to see the tape a little in the seams. We opted for a more finished look since we are intending to use our shop as a home office. In the end, I'm glad we spent a little extra for a nice finished look. "
